It's not worth the risk to go to WDW or even Disney Springs amid all of this. For what? Shopping for stuffed animals and to eat out? These photos prove that.
I really think the majority of the people who are going to be out and about at Disney Springs tomorrow are going to be those Disney Vloggers. You are correct, why risk going out to shop at a few stores or eat with all those restrictions. The only reason is just to say you did it on the day it opened back up.

I think there will be a large turnout this holiday weekend. Never underestimate the drug that is Disney.

A peek at the signage on the ground to keep 6' apart outside World of Disney.

From a strictly aesthetic point of view, I think Universal's little "Stand Here" circles look better than Disney's gigantic "Don't Stand Here" beach towels. 😆

A bit confusing, too, when some of Disney's signage says "Stand Here," some says "Stand Behind Here," and some says "Don't Stand Here." 🤔

And it makes it more difficult with Disney's version when the gaps in-between where you can stand are not large enough for a party more than three or two and a stroller or wheelchair.

I'm thinking one and a stroller. Or, depending on the size of the stroller, just it. 😆 I guess the rest of your party has to stand behind another beach towel. :p

It's very interesting to me that, at least from the photos I've seen, AdventHealth is doing the temperature screenings. I assume that wasn't just for the media preview.

You could take two spots.

With a stroller or wheelchair(potentially with someone not able to move themselves) you will always be on a no standing spot at least partially, so then you are kind of in three at that point. We were not saying it is not doable, just not best practices.[/QUOTE]

Yeah I agree with this thought this was maybe just a Shanghai thing when saw it there .. I prefer the stand here markers .. confusing for everyone but especially kids.

Lemmings will do what lemmings do best....lem.

DW: "Hey Disney Springs is open. Everyone is going so we should, too. Let's go this weekend!"

NDH: "Why?"

DW: "We can check out the new merch and get some dinner! Everyone else is going. I don't want to miss out! It will be like old times!"

NDH: "No it won't. They only have limited offerings, we have to wear a mask, and they make you wait in lines outside to go in a store. How is that fun? Besides you can buy Disney stuff online like you did last week. It's the same stuff. And we have restaurants here that we can order from."

DW: "It's all about the experience. You can't get that shopping online or getting carryout from regular restaurants around here. Those issues you mentioned don't take away the Disney experience. Don't you want to make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime?"

NDH: "...You mean like the ones we made last year when we went, or the other dozen times we went before that? If it's unforgettable memories you're after we have plenty already to reminisce about."

DW: "You just don't get it."

NDH: "You're correct. I don't see why I should risk my health for a sub-par experience of shopping and dining when we can do that safely here."

The insatiable pursuit of "happiness" continues with people not realizing it's really a pursuit of materialism which is far from the destination they are seeking. If trips to Disney brought happiness we all would have it already since we have already been a time or 50.

But as @ParkerLoLs said, it's a drug. Just like an addict, you can't tell pixie dusters that the feeling won't last and they will still have the same problems and anxieties when they return from their "trip". They don't want to believe it.
