Here's a secret: A loose metal flap isn't airtight anyway

Here's a secret: The lid doesn't have to be airtight to contain a large portion of the smell. If the metal spring doors made no difference, penny-pincher Bob would have cut them from the budget a long time ago.

Go open your trash can lid and let it sit for hours in the hot sun and see if it doesn't make a difference.

If the trash cans are filled to the brim it's easier for the cast to see it needs to be emptied before trash can spilled all over the ground.

I think there will be a large turnout this holiday weekend. Never underestimate the drug that is Disney.

Yeah I think Disney announcing this as far ahead as they did may backfire, CityWalk was 2 days notice, and that's it. Disney's notice gives people time to plan to come (from further out), which means I think tomorrow may be a small disaster.

Honestly any park opening should give VERY little official public notice as to give reasonable ramp up time for cast, etc. I.e. like a soft opening.

The push-to-open doors on the trash cans have been removed.

No lids?! Why, that's what we call 'tuppence a bag.'

And it makes it more difficult with Disney's version when the gaps in-between where you can stand are not large enough for a party more than three or two and a stroller or wheelchair.
You can split your party in half if it's big so ya'll are not on the same spot. It's self explanatory. It's not that deep. When a wheelchair touches the do not stand here, it's not really disobeying the rules.

You do the social distancing with your own party and not rely on anyone else to guide or remind you.

Why are ya'll making it sound like Disney vloggers are a lot. There are only a handful of them, maybe less than 20, that I usually see and most of them are friends anyways so what's the point?

They all show the same content on their personal point of view. You be the one to decide which to watch. Some are entertaining. Some are dull.
I have seen a lot more than 20. There are many that make a daily business out of it Vlogging about different topics and flock to these sort of openings. In this case yes they will get mostly the same content with a bit of their own twist on it I suppose. I could really careless if this is what they choose to do with their time. I still think there will be quite a few Vloggers at Disney Springs and In my opinion it will be more than 20.

I love Disney Springs...but...being a local, I've seen what a "grand opening" looks like...so I plan to wait at least 2 wks before I go...I'll make reservations. Since the City of Orlando gives pretty good updates on how many "new" Covid19 infections have happened since Disney's Springs opening...yep wearing mask, bringing wipes, sanitizer, gloves, etc...it's the new norm now. I also think getting their early, might help.

Live stream opening Disney Springs. There are probably more people watching the stream than actual people present.
