Content being attraction wise?
Content being everything - the desire is to have a land dedicated to Zootopia/Zootropolis by the higher ups in management is very much in vogue.
Content being attraction wise?
Hmm interesting. In my opinion this seems like plans that maybe would be built for the 50th? Nothing very soon? Or maybe even further out then the 50th?Content being everything - the desire is to have a land dedicated to Zootopia/Zootropolis by the higher ups in management is very much in vogue.
While i'm not sure I like it in DAK though I guess it's much better than cramming it into epcot, I do thank a zootropolis could be really cool. I'm assuming this would have to use the expansion pad behind Asia/Everest.Content being everything - the desire is to have a land dedicated to Zootopia/Zootropolis by the higher ups in management is very much in vogue.
Just finished "skimming" this 89 page thread. I appear to be the only Theme park fan who actively avoids the Fab Five in all their iterations. I was trying to figure out why. I think it was because I grew up with Walt Disney's television shows and Mickey Mouse related stuff was the least interesting to me. I looked forward to Davy Crockett, documentaries, tall tales, glimpses of Disneyland etc. Mickey to me was filler for the full length features.
That said, Mickey having a ride and not just Philharmagic in MK makes a great deal of sense in a park that has yet to create an identity. I might have some difficulty convincing the hubby to try it. I was a Great Movie Ride fan. But I did get to see it when everything worked once in the 90's. It needed help. Maybe IPCOT should be the new name for the studios.
You left off that you can reserve said dog's breakfast 180 + 10 days in advance. No no no, IgerWorld - Home of a dog's breakfast of unrelated IP.
TBD - considering its blue but the desire is there to get those characters in the park.
I hope this is true. Great Movie Ride, just like Backlot Tour, Universe of Energy, Maelstrom, etc had their time but now they are just not relevant. The parks badly need this shot in the arm they have been getting.

Because. It's 2016. And reasons.I disagree. Great old movies are always relevant. I don't see why we have to lose good stuff to get more good stuff.
Because it costs money to maintain and operate them, and why do that when there could be something that doesn't suck instead?
I think best case scenario is you have a land where the center is the actual city center then from there you go into mini lands/the suburbs like tundra town and rain forest district. What would be perfect is a people mover style attraction to go all around the land kind of like how the train goes through all the different climate zones.Hm, thanks for the info. I wonder how ambitious that desire is? Are themed buildings going to be involved? Designated areas like Tundra Town and the Rain Forest District?

Saw this post in between checking in with a close family relative member who is dealing with the dreaded "C" disease .... So as I understand it there are blue sky plans over the content of a Zootropolis in DAK, those characters are coming in land form but now its a content issue.
I can't say I like the idea of the modern city of Zootopia in DAK. I would think Jungle Book would be a better fit. Where would this go?Content being everything - the desire is to have a land dedicated to Zootopia/Zootropolis by the higher ups in management is very much in vogue.
The Backlot Tour we can all agree with. GMR being replaced by Mickey isn't the worst thing in the World but the park needs more new rides rather than replacements after BLT. Epcot feels like a lethal injection for a park that used to have an amazing identity all its own.I hope this is true. You just don't understand the hip youth and their bold, brand oriented lifestyles.Only the foolish would think otherwise.
I don't understand how Jungle Book has never gotten the proper love it has deserved in the parks its very sad. I feel like the chance of any older IP getting added is very slim, why would they add an IP that was first introduced 30-40 years ago. With that being said does anyone know the last time an attraction was themed to an IP 10 or so years after the movie was made?I can't say I like the idea of the modern city of Zootopia in DAK. Wow, just think if Disney catered to aging hipsters like myself - what a Great GMR we could've had.You just don't understand the hip youth and their bold, brand oriented lifestyles.
