I'm still sore about Tower of Terror. It was a dumb idea to get rid of DCA's best attraction (yes, better than Radiator Springs Racers), and it was even dumber to replace it with Guardians of the Galaxy, and even dumber again to put minimal effort into the overlay. No amount of Marvel additions to the park will fix this mistake.

Wayyyyy better than RSR.

Ok, if you say so.

The first rumors of Marvel wasn't even an actual attraction. It was a walk thru being put behind ToT. When an actual attraction was rumored it was that ToT would be converted to something else. Yes GotG wasn't brought up at that time, but it was that ToT would be rethemed to something Marvel.

Again I've never tried to say that ToT was ever rumored to be demoed. That was my opinion, that if it wasn't rethemed to something Marvel it would have been demoed. Again my opinon.

I'm willing to admit I was wrong in the time frame of the rumors. Not that it matters anymore. But there were initial rumors (after the walk thru rumor went away) of just the expansion pad being used for the Marvel coaster. But just like with SW it was decided it was not ambitious enough and went back to the drawing board rather quickly.

This is the problem with discussing rumors on constantly changing projects. All the little changes to the rumors tend to merge together into one big rumor.

The actual ToT ride might have been better than RSR, but it was an awkward, inelegant exterior (compared to Florida's). Whilst GotG:MB has made it uglier, it at least owns it, and the exterior of RSR is the greatest thing to happen to DCA.

The exterior is great. I’ll give you that.

DHS TOT ( probably - haven’t been) > DCA TOT > No TOT

The internal workings of DCA/TDS/WDS TOT is better and more efficient however the outside is where DHS is far superior even to the TDS version.

No question on the exterior. I was open to the possibility that DHS’s ride experience is better too but from what I’ve read I could see how I would prefer DCA.

It's much smoother in regards to its storytelling. I wish the exterior was more elegant but I remember seeing commercials for the new Tower of Terror as a kid so I have nostalgia for our version which blinds my objectivity on the matter.

I wasn't impressed with the glorified 4th dimension room. The mirror effects were kind of cool but adds nothing to story. It get worst when the laser door opens and you get blasted with Florida heat. Its like your being dragged into a blast furnace. It ruins that nice air conditioning you enjoyed for the last hour. The shaft is nice with the glowing manikins but the heat is suffocating. I couldn't wait for it be over.

Mission Breakout only works if you're a fan of Marvel and / or Guardians of the Galaxy. I am neither, as are many other people. So the ride is a huge mess with references I just don't get.

A haunted hotel, even if you're not familiar with its namesake program, could be relate-able to everyone. Everyone who didn't ride it back then was "too afraid" or didn't like the drops. How is this different? If anything, the ride experience is worse as it's not the same program every time.

Incredicoaster's tubes and effects should have been all screens. M:BO should have been all practical sets and animatronics. They got both overlays completely backwards.

One is based on a pixar animated property and the other is photo-real life-action, now inside the show building of an E-ticket attraction.

I'll never forget my first time watching a M:BO POV. lol

Sometimes I wonder of Chapek has ever ridden M:BO or hyperspace mountain in paris. Sorry, these busy cheap IP attractions not purpose-built just aren't fun!
