I agree that the money probably didn't need to be spent, but a good deal of infrastructure and smaller enhancements were hidden among the bigger waste of money. New Fantasmic updated the water projectors, added projection mapping to the island, while the Incredicoaster is muuuuch quieter when running than California Screamin', and Mission Breakout vastly improved the ride profile and re-rideability.
