December 2008 -- Hooray!!

Just confirmed our 9 day trip for December 2008. Very excited since I have never been there when the parks were decorated for the Christmas Holidays. This was our goal the last 2 years, but with the free dining offer for September, we have not been able to resist. This is also the first trip we have to pay for my son who will be 4 when we go. We hope my infant son loves WDW as much as my older son who is begging to go again.
We decided to try out the POFQ. We have stayed recently at CR, WL and POP. My wife liked POR when she went with family years back, and I am liking the review of POFQ. Thanks for listening. I just needed to share my excitement.

But now we've hit a small snag. 7 yr old daughter has broken arm. She's ok though...not much pain, still in good spirits, still looking forward to trip. No coasters or Test Track but she should still be able to ride the tame stuff (Fantasyland, Jungle Cruise, Soarin') and we should have a ton of Christmas shows and such to fill this trip. Maybe we'll have the characters sign her cast, too.

Oh, that pool slide at POFQ will go to waste (maybe i'll slip out of the room for a dip if she takes a nap).:goodnevil

Just letting time pass -- another 15 minutes until I can print my boarding passes -- so that mean we will be within 24 hours very shortly until we are airborne for the World!! Only need to get through a days work -- will be in vacation mode in about 9 hours --- YEY!!!

Packed & ready to go. Leaving at 2am tonight (Fri morning if you're picky) & driving down--check in & be at the DHS when it opens. This will be the longest day of my life! :ROFLOL: I'm too excited to sleep!!
