My prediction is that some of the new material will be superior to the worst of the original/recent content and some of the new stuff will be inferior.

Obviously it’s going to very from person to person (and how much they enjoyed the most recent version of CBJ), I personally am expecting to not like everything but genuinely enjoy some things…I’m hoping they keep my kids’ favorite and assuming that whatever the end product is, I’ll prefer it to tearing the whole theater down and replacing it with a Pixar film fest.
Glad the bears are sticking around and that the theatre didn’t become big Al’s country bear dvc lounge

This is gonna suck, isn’t it?
50/50. The 2012 version of CBJ was a definite downgrade from the original '71 show, so if they can pull off something better than that it'll be seen as a success. Of course knowing modern WDI I'm ready to hear "We need to gather the Bears for a performance. Let's see what they all play!" to be the show plot.

Agree don't know which way its going to go yet...will be interesting to see what bonnie, bubbles and Beula will be singing....I feel like this has a good team in place despite the atrocity of using whole new world yet again (as much as Im thrilled Chris Thile was involved), and the zootopia song which no one even knows that one, I truly dont know what they were thinking there...but Im willing to see this in full. A better team at least than the incoherent mess created down the way.. I feel like this is not designed by committee checking off boxes, except for some of the ip songs maybe.

Regardless of how the retheme turns out, this will be the first time I’m going to see the show as I’ve either skipped it or forgotten about it when at the parks.

I don't think the particular songs are really that important as much as keeping the humor of the show intact. Like the banter and one liners. And I honestly am a bit skeptical with how effective they will be with that.

Thanks to the magic of cutting edge A1000 technology, it will now be possible for guests to witness an animatronic of Little Buford being whupped and then shot by his mama. Storytelling brought to life.
Thanks to enhanced motion tracking technology, the bears will now be able to leave Little Buford’s fate to the audience through a show of hands!

For an added fee, guests will be able to participate in the "Whup Buford Experience," where you get to go onstage as Buford is whupped. For even more magic, upgrade to the "Whup Buford Experience +" and whup him yourself!

Country Bear Musical Jamboree is set to be fully revealed the morning of July 10, so we are just a few days away from finding out all of the details. I know there’s some behind-the-scenes work starting tomorrow, so we might see some content from Disney before the 10th. I’ve heard some surprisingly good reactions to this show so far, though I’m still skeptical on some of the song choices. We will see very soon!

Fun fact - The heads actually made shocked faces as Henry would yell out "BANG!" after singing Lil' Buford. (Video starts at the footage):
