No. It’s that it’s really hot. People don’t remember this, but back in the ‘90s, it was about 20 degrees cooler in the summer at WDW. It would snow in the winter! They are charging for this? Nice work Bob. This is why crowds are decreasing
It is D23 though and not the parks… I paid a crazy amount of money to ride carousel of progress with Marty Sklar and Tony Baxter - totally worth it.They are charging for this?
If I didn’t already have an AP, I’d say the first showing including park admission is actually a pretty good value, but I can see why it would be frustrating for people who already have admission.DETAILS:
D23 Gold Mem-bears who get their claws on these tickets will enjoy:
Admission to Magic Kingdom Park at check-in for the event – admission is only valid for entry immediately following check-in for the specified show time.
It says admission is included
For 1/4th of your day... er night. This is basically half price admission.
Then don't go and stop whining about it.For 1/4th of your day... er night.
It's the Tomorrowland Cabanas all over again...Absolutely ridiculous to charge people on top of their ticket to the park for this.
You don’t have to pay for a park ticketAbsolutely ridiculous to charge people on top of their ticket to the park for this.
Did the uncut version of the show have more commentary from the animals on the wall, or am I misremembering? It’d be nice if this new show gave them more to say
Absolutely ridiculous to charge people on top of their ticket to the park for this.
A few posts in you can see exactly what was cut/changed from the original show:It did. Chiefly Max and Buff poking fun at Trixie’s girth while she sings
After her song, Henry admonishes them with “Now boys, be polite.”
To which Melvin responds with “Yeah, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all!”
Funny thing is they just turned off their audio during Trixie’s song…they didn’t alter the animation. So while Trixie’s singing, you’d see Buff and Max silently mouthing to themselves. Henry and Melvin’s animations were edited out altogether, shaving those 15-20 seconds and going to the next song.
Also Zeke’s solo song “Devilish Mary” was axed around the same time.

Typically before the refurb the Bears opened at 11 each dayThese hours may change as the reopening date gets closer, but here’s what Disney has added for operational hours for the show beginning July 17:

I don't know.This is gonna suck, isn’t it?
I am so conflicted, I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up, especially with try everything but the team from all we’ve seen seem to have their hearts in the right place, along with the “blood on the saddle” rumors so idk.I don't know.
I really don't know.
My prediction is that some of the new material will be superior to the worst of the original/recent content and some of the new stuff will be inferior.I am so conflicted, I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up, especially with try everything but the team from all we’ve seen seem to have their hearts in the right place, along with the “blood on the saddle” rumors so idk.
Waiting until something opens to find out what something is like? PREPOSTEROUSMy real question is if we will ever learn the surprise @wdwmagic was talking about or if we’ll have to wait until previews begin!
