Actually, Yeah, people are dying. 366 reported today nationwide, and 35 over the last week in FL. I suppose if/when it doubles or triples, that will be satisfactory enough to realize there's a problem? By the time we get to that point, it will be too late. I guess people have forgotten how this whole virus worked. Cases lead to Hospitalizations lead to Deaths. So what? Are people dying? Are hospitals inundated?
Hospitals are not inundated in CA. But they are starting to get that way in states like MO.
And I was not the one who said they missed the shutdown. I will post Reality, and right now, the reality is that in some states, and even in parts of CA, cases are starting to rise, where they had been declining. That's simply a fact, and what it will lead to, remains to be seen.
Instead of blaming the messenger, perhaps blame should be placed on those who refuse to get vaccinated. And those who despite not being vaccinated, take advantage of the "honor system," and never wear a mask in the circumstances where they're supposed to be worn. They're the reason there's still a possibility of a resurgence.
