I have a sign in my room, that says some meaningful stuff... lol
That stupid unicorn literally says "the meaning of life is rainbows and glitter!!"

😂😂

It also has a saying A says is mine, "sometimes I feel like a giant marshmallow!!". Every time she says that, A laughs and says, that's you mom!! Soft and squishy!! 🙄🙄😂😂
I feel like A would like my plaque, in my room. That is a dead rose, from like at least 15 years ago, from my son- dry them and keep them. 😑

That almost perfectly sums up A. When I was pregnant there was a shirt that made me so so angry at the way little girls were gender washed. It said "my greatest love is shopping!!"

But like, it's just her personality 😂😂 shopping, glitter, sparkle, and rainbows.
Hey, you never know, my son, 6’5 was always my shopper and could cook! We actually call him our diva. ;) It is all good! 😁

A was so excited to show N the Frozen ride. N,... Not so excited 😂😂 but he's such an amazingly good sport ❤️❤️

Then she wanted to show him the "Mexico ride" because she thought it might be his new favorite ride. But unfortunately, we were met with a thirty minute line to get into the building, and we're told the line for the ride itself was an extra ten minutes...

Aside from maybe Christmas week, a fourty minutes wait for a three minute Donald Duck cartoon seemed unfathomable. So we went back to the Frozen ride, instead.

The plexiglass on the boats gets wet, and when you aren't in the front row you have to only look through the sides to get a clear view, so you could only really see the animations and show for the few seconds you were passing by each scene. So this time I asked if we could wait for the front row and they said yesView attachment 527849

This ride was so so so much better in the front row!! A said this was her favorite part of the day because both N and I got wet and left the ride with soggy bottoms, but she stayed dry 😂😂

At this point A and N were both ready to go check in at the hotel. I learned that A really doesn't like to head straight to the Parks. I also learned that Shades of Green guests don't get free parking at the Parks, which was an expensive planning mistake. Nevertheless, when given the chance to ride more rides or ride the rides again, they both insisted on going back to the hotel.

And then A made us take butterfly pictures too, and posed us super weirdly 😂😂

Those butterflies match A's outfit really well!

My daughter was all about glitter, pink, unicorns, rainbows, etc...she got SOOOO mad when she was four and she was the flowergirl in my brother's wedding, that the dress was white with a lavender sash and not pink. She threw a fit and didn't want to wear it because there was no pink. She changed her mind when about 50 people had told her she looked like a princess....then she didn't want to take the dress OFF.

Now she's 14 and she's all about science....she memorized the periodic table before she even had Chemistry as a class...she was SO excited for Chemistry. And one of her favorite classes is Physics. And next year she's taking Biology as her elective because it's the only science not included in her "profile" that she's choosing.

The glitter and rainbows stage doesn't necessarily last forever. She does still prefer to wear dresses and skirts, but she WILL wear pants now. A is pretty fierce...she might be a little bit tomboy and a little bit glitter. Give her a few years and she might be past all the rainbows and glitter...or at least tone it down at bit.

Neighbor mom is currently YELLING at her daughter that she needs to understand other people are around and she needs to be considerate of other people.

Which is pretty ironic, all things considered 😂😂
I may be that mom from time to time....😳. In my defense we go to a lot of early morning soccer tournaments with six of us in a room it gets ugly. I promise I always request a bottom floor end unit to save everyone from our loudness!

I love N & A’s left and rightness. So cute!!!

Loving hearing about A and all the fun! Totally hear you on the weird gendered stuff. We have some disney themed vtech cars for the kids and my daughter (almost 4) loves the Minnie. Naturally Minnie says “What a beautiful day to do some shopping!” And I always add in “for soccer cleats and a microscope!” Just... why?

Have a great day today!

I'm not sure you planned it, but each of you have clothes that match great with the wings you are posing in front of!

In my daughters teen years her sayings took a great turn.
She played volleyball and had a t-shirt that said, "it's hard to find a lipstick to match your brush burns"!
