What are some of your family traditions? Well, after my dad moved, my best friend and I started a tradition on Christmas Eve to bake cookies and watch a movie. My mom, brother and I drive around that night to look at the lights. We make a gingerbread house and I paint a Christmas village that I make sure to take home with me every year

Not so much a family one but I hadn't seen It's a Wonderful Life when I started college so my friends made me watch it. For the four years we were undergrads, we made it a tradition to watch it together and bring someone who had never seen it :xmas:

What are some of your family traditions? I swear we started this one. 23 years ago my mom and step dad got married, that first Christmas Day evening we went to the movies. We were 4 of 6 people in the entire theater. We made it our tradition. Flash forward 20+ years later and Christmas Day/Week is a hot day to release movies and depending on the movie the shows can be sold out.

My family now goes to a park that has a "Christmas in the Park." A bunch of sponsors and volunteers get together to to put up huge displays of lights and elaborate animated lights. You drive through and it is a blast with the little ones. Also we make Santo brownies with cream cheese frosting on Christmas Eve.....did I mention those are Santa's absolute favorite?

What is it? One of my trees is all origami figures that I made. The other was a gift that my mom made for me, and it's "crystal" (clear plastic) musical instruments. The family tree is all white with hints of silver and gold, and many of the ornaments are made out of seashells.

What do you leave out for Santa Claus? Milk and homemade cookies with sprinkles on top.

Do you hang stockings? We have stockings, but may not hang them up depending on where we have our party.

What is on your front door? Lights, garland and a wreath made by my mom. In a window by the door we would hang brass ornaments of a manger scene. Around the door we hang a garland and lights.

Do you open presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? It depends on which night we have the most people off work (working at Disney makes it difficult for everybody to be all in one place on a holiday). This year it's Christmas Eve.

What are some of your family traditions? Every year my mom makes several dips (my favorites being the beer cheese and cheese ball). They're pretty simple and delicious, and recipes mom only uses at Christmas. I also usually sing in the Candlelight Processional on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, so as much family as possible comes to see me. Every year my sister labels her gifts to and from various celebrities and other icons(for example To: Sonny From: Cher). We used to go to the Adventurers Club on Christmas Eve for their reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, so now we need to create a new tradition.
