Wrapped presents or unwrapped? Wrapped, although Santa's gifts are unwrapped.

What are some of your family traditions? I bake some kind of sweet bread or cinammon rolls Christmas morning, we usually watch the Disney parade in the morning - mostly though, we just enjoy being with one another.
I also have a personal tradition of my own - a counting of my blessings, if you will. I look at my kids and how much they change from year to year. In particular my youngest son, who is autistic, four years ago wasn't looking at anyone, and wasn't talking at all. Now, at almost seven years of age, he is talking, reading, and generally interacting with the world around him. This always strikes me the most at Christmas time, the path he has traveled...and how we, as his family, have changed along with him. God is good!

What are some of your family traditions? Christmas eve present, Baking enough cookies to feed Rhode Island, making fun of my Mom because she always loses a present for someone and she finds it in March.
What about cards. Do you send them? If so, do you put pictures in or have a theme? Do you give a family update in them?
Since we started having kids, we do the photo cards. I love getting them- whether it's a picture of someone's dogs, or just our friends, or an entire family, or a picture from someone's vacation- I can't bear to throw them out at the end of the season. I save them all!

..I like this idea..We may do this..I got Drew some really great stuff and we always lay in bed every night now and talk about our day..so we can add this on Christmas Eve..

My husband goes rowing early Christmas morning now that the children are older and don't wake up at the crack of dawn.
The Christmas Frog always leaves everyone a gift; this tradition dates back to 1970, when my roomate started it. I have multiple Christmas Frog decorations around the house, Christmas Frog wrapping paper, and a large illuminated outdoor Christmas frog.
We always have Christmas Crackers on Christmas Eve, and again at Christmas day dinner.
