I'm looking forward to the picketing outside the Hotel Plaza Blvd. entrance when the company summarily denies the unions' demand for a $25/hour minimum wage, or whatever other non-starters they initially propose. The deliberations are always entertaining.

I'd say that's the time to make a ridiculously huge order at a place with to-go containers and feed yourself for a week on something like Gasprilla Island Grill pizza and macaroni and cheese...but I'm pretty sure even with the discount it's still overpriced.

How long are the contracts? My place is 7 years, renewed July 2020, but they've amended already so far for higher starting pay.

Whatever these improvements are, I hope they are in addition to increasing pay rather than instead of… It stands to reason that people who are expected to provide a “world class” level of service should be paid more than those at companies that only expect “average” service.
