Lame. But hey at least you might get to go!

Besides, I pretty much live down there. I'll be there again. And again.

Don't jynx it! I'm not going, and I'm not there until I pass under the blessed purple gates.;)

Sounds good...I'll be back...soon....I hope....:lookaroun:lol:

Wow! So some research before you speak. :dazzle:

So about the "interactive" portion of Mission:Space, why don't the controls do anything? You have buttons but they don't change anything actually and they get pressed for you. The joystick....does nothing.

I know, they couldn't successfully change one side of the spinning ride vehicles without throwing off the balance of the others, but IMO it's a really cheap gimmick.

Sounds like your a tough one to please.

Disney better get smart and develop a ride where you wait 2 minutes to get on, and then get a 45 minute-1 hour ride.(nothing modern, just ancient technology)

That would work, right?

If as you say, WDW has lost you............................good riddance.

No WDW has not lost me I still go and put up with losers like you but I do not miss Mission Space, Test Track.... I was too strong against Soaring I kind of like Soaring but I think it is over hyped.

I love people that say "good riddance" .

I go to WDW one or twice a year, I guess you have to live with that.

My favorite park is the Magic Kingdom because WDW has not replaced attractions like "It's A Small World" with a two minute vomit ride. Strange enough my second favorite is Epcot but I like the World Showcase.

Horizons was almost like the was you described it, it did not last 45minutes and the technology was not ancient but at least by the time I got on the show did last awhile and it was worth it.

Mission Space finally get on and the interactive?, attraction last 2 minutes, with ice cold A/C blowing on you and all you can think of other than how lame it is, Why Did I Eat before I got on this? I get so, bored on the thing I never press the two button or play with the stick controller anymore.

God bless the "Ignore" button.

I like M:S, but you hit the nail on the head! They should really ditch that BS.

Mission Space is such a puke ride, even for those who are not prone to getting sick on rides, for some reason this particular ride is so jarring to your stomach and nausea-provoking...horizons was amazing. Does anyone have any links to nostalgic horizons info?

Calling the most expensive ride in EPCOT a cheap carnival ride is what I find confusing.

I never said it was cheap.

I'm not really worried about how much Disney spent on it, IMO it wasn't money well spent.

Thoughts after and during both rides

Horizons- Wow that was a sick ride and the artwork and the diagrams were amazing. Wow look at that, Thats a beautyful building I need a picture of this whle area.

Mission Space- Wow I wasted my time on a line just to go on some cheasey simulator, Now I feel sick just for that simulator, I am to sick my epcot day is ruines, it was ok, I feel sick I have to call it a day, I think I stepped in vomit, i think I just sat in it, (Classic) I hope noone died in this seat, Star tours is better, why bother or I like horizons better
