Yep. There is no other machine like it.Anyone who calls M:S just a carnie ride is incredibly delusional. It's the most advanced simulator in a theme park.
I hate your sig, BTW....

Not gonna be able to make it?
5 Days later....:fork::lol:
(Projected to arrive on the 8th...if ANYTHING)
Lame. But hey at least you might get to go!
Besides, I pretty much live down there. I'll be there again. And again.
Eeee uh (sound of a buzzer)I've only posted it a billion times. Google EPCOT 1978 Space Plans
Mission:Space isn't a carnie simulator....it's a carnie simulator with playstation graphics and barf bags
Wow! So some research before you speak. :dazzle:
Sounds like your a tough one to please.
Disney better get smart and develop a ride where you wait 2 minutes to get on, and then get a 45 minute-1 hour ride.(nothing modern, just ancient technology)
That would work, right?
If as you say, WDW has lost you............................good riddance.
I like M:S, but you hit the nail on the head! They should really ditch that BS.So about the "interactive" portion of Mission:Space, why don't the controls do anything? You have buttons but they don't change anything actually and they get pressed for you. The joystick....does nothing.
I know, they couldn't successfully change one side of the spinning ride vehicles without throwing off the balance of the others, but IMO it's a really cheap gimmick.

The Horizons refit was around 1994. Journeys in Space was late 80`s. The space pavilion was 1978.

I never said it was cheap.
I'm not really worried about how much Disney spent on it, IMO it wasn't money well spent.
Could the money been used for Horizons? Sure. But this is what Compaq wanted.[/QUOT
Compaq cant even make a computer and thats what they specialise in.
