We are giving these tour groups one more reason to visit. Do we want that?
Well, judging from the vids & not exactly playing the Devil's advocate, they appear to be having fun in their own way.

I remember talking to a group, which revealed that they come once every year to WDW to escape their strict upbringing & have fun. Contrary to popular belief, they admit that there are some other groups that shouldn't act so obnoxious or rude to others at the parks.

In other words, they also understand how they can be perceived by others, despite being in the minority to not be so annoying.

And yes, I know it's just a partial joke. I am just pointing that out as an opposing defense to the prideful BTGs. :p

Honestly...the large majority of the tour groups are like a pack of locusts that descend upon the parks and destroy all in their path.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
Wow. This board got negative quickly.
Anyways, my grain of salt and I like this idea! It's been too long since WS got a new country.

I was hoping for something concrete when I saw the thread title, with everything else that has gone on a world showcase update would have been awesome.

I sympathize there. Even though I don't have a strict upbringing or anything major, Disney World and vacations in general help me espape the stresses in life.

Although, something new is better than nothing... I'd actually prefer Figment have his day in the sun.

If Disney announces that a Brazillian pavilion (hey, that rhymes!) is coming to EPCOT, I won't believe it. After all, they announced Equatorial Africa, Israel, and Spain, too. If they plant a "Coming Soon-Brazil" sign on the prospective site, I won't believe it. There have been signs before. No, I won't believe it until I see construction. And maybe not even then.

Anyway, I'd rather they just finish the pavilions that are already there; give Germany its Rhine River cruise, Italy its gondola ride and Roman ruin walkthrough, and Japan its bullet train. The last thing we need is another shopping-restaurant complex with no actual attraction.

Even though it's not a Disney film (though I think they did some of the international distribution), I think it would be interesting if we got a little Secret of Kells in the UK for something representing Ireland.

World Showcase would just be a great place to promote international animation in general.

Heading for the great escape.
Then why is that one guy belly achin about Scotland if it is already included?

Belly aching???? I’m simply trying to educate you former colonials on geography and history, two subjects I know you and your country folk seem to have some aversion to. Also you may have noticed the title of the book I used as an image, to illustrate the impact, especially on your former colony, that us porridge wogs have had. I think you also may have had a bit of a whooshhhhhhh moment too.

As for the English, have no real problem with them, even married one, she was obviously trying to improve herself, but they do get upset at those of us who don’t wish to be classed as one of their mongrel breed. They are also probably upset at us Jocks running things too which is why they get so bitter.

Quite like the idea of Russia, buildings, vodka, hot ladies.

As for the Irish idea, that would be fantastic, Guinness, Bushmills, baked potatoes and muscles, a boxing pavilion, U2 tribute band
