I could understand the push for a Latin American presence other than Mexico, but I don't know about this one.

I'd imagine that Greece or Russia would be more stimulating and visually interesting.

But remember that good old Jose Carioca's home country was Brazil, so it would be a built-in character tie-in. (Jose is still one of my favorite Disney characters, so this would not upset me at all!)

Time will tell, I suppose.

(Nice shot, even though he suould probably be speaking Portuguese rather than Spansih...)

Uhh, the two words in José's quote ARE Portuguese, not Spanish. The languages are similar. Amigo is the same for both languages, but senhorita is Portuguese, señorita is Spanish.

Other than that, any new country in WS would be welcome. Sure there may be better choices, but South America is lacking in representation, as well as Africa and Australia (Outpost doesn't count as a real country). And anyway, how about Dubai as a country in WS - couldn't you just imagine a small version of Dubailand in WDW, as well as a small version of Burj al Arab as another resort :)

That bird isn't even remotely entertaining IMHO. Can we either get no character tie ins at all or some Up action up in there?

Well wouldn't be more logical to locate Brazil near Mexico?

Is there space there?

Now there is some amazing building that can complement and Epcot and clash with everything else

Brazilia

What's logical about Norway next to China? Or Morocco next to Japan?

How about the USA sandwiched between three former WorldWarII enemies?

Shouldn't the USA be sandwiched between Canada and Mexico?

While it would make more sense for Disney to do that, I think that one of architectural styles might be indistinguishable from the other, making just one big Mexico/Brazil area. Disney didn't do that with China and Japan, but then again I'm no expert on the differences on Japanese and Chinese building styles.

Always laughed at the first statement. I find it so ironic.

And the last statement.... it was supposed to be. ;)

We are giving these tour groups one more reason to visit. Do we want that?

Why do you feel that by having Brazil represented at Epcot that any more or less Brazilians will visit?

I would think that people from countries represented at Epcot would be more likely to be visiting other pavilions than visiting something that they just left at home. After all they are on vacation also!

You never know, Brazillians have a lot of pride in their country. :D Plus it was a partial joke, even though those groups are so annoying.

I'll give you that. But I still don't think that because a country is represented at Epcot that it makes a difference in that countries travel percentage per-capita to WDW.

I don't see any more Norwegian tourists at Norway than I do anywhere else.
