That should help employee morale.
Idk… when it comes to creativity there is something to be said for in person collaboration.bad move... Iger stuck in the past exhibit A.
Either employees do their job or they don't... regardless of where they login.
For a company big in technology, creativity, and innovation... this isn't it.
It's a good thing Linked In and other job websites work better than Disney's... they are likely getting hammered right now.
Why? It will almost certainly thin the herd. It will certainly check a box for the bean counters. Maybe improve quality a little bit too.bad move... Iger stuck in the past exhibit A.

I agree that it depends on the job. Most call Center, or finance type jobs wound be just fine full remote. When it comes to any creative/planning roles I disagree. I think there’s a huge benefit from in person collaboration that can’t be truly replaced electronically. With work from home collaboration is often structured and controlled. Leaves little room for spontaneous informal discussion, criticism, and feedback. It depends on the job.
You can be creative in how teams work remotely around the world as well

I bet Iger is planning to make cuts, cancellations, and write-offs, like WarnerDiscovery, right now.Maybe they need to make some cuts, so are hoping to see some employees jump ship so they don't have to.

I’ll be interested to see whether stuff like National Treasure or Willow get renewed.I bet Iger is planning to make cuts, cancellations, and write-offs, like WarnerDiscovery, right now.
I insist our janitorial staff also come into the office in person.I can't throw stones at Disney for asking their employees to come to the office 4 days a week.
I'd be surprised if they weren't. What I can see happening is them renewing them with major budget constraints. They need to feed the D+ beast. I could see she hulk getting the same treatment.I’ll be interested to see whether stuff like National Treasure or Willow get renewed.
And TRON construction workersI insist our janitorial staff also come into the office in person.
