Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

I don't think you can keep going trotting out all the same actors. That also can be a failed process. I am starting to get excited on who the X-men will be brought along, per some reports they will give a fond farewell to the Fox X-men in Avengers secret wars or Kang dynasty. Then introduce the new X-men post that.
I also think you will get many of the current hanging around as Dr. Strange will be still going, Hulk and a few others. They just need to be better developing the new characters in some things
Well I do agree with you there.

The xmen are coming along at the right time to infuse some new blood into MCU.

If…big IF…they just roll them out as they were meant to be. Make cyclops the alpha…make storm the dominant leader…make wolverine the animal…scare the crap out of us with Jean grey…use colossus…

Magneto is top 5 baddie of all time…don’t “reinvent” that.

Just don’t do…the Lucasfilm “thing” with this. Stick to the plan.

I still think perhaps the best movie superhero character…save for maybe Heath ledger…is Alan Cummings night crawler in X2…
Something like that would be great again

I don't understand why they are putting "Ironheart" in this one. It seems like she doesn't belong, much like Monica Rambeau in "Wandavision". I guess they want to shoehorn their lesser known characters into well established franchises, to get us to know them. Even if it doesn't make sense at all.

Given that Riri is a STEM genius, like Shuri, I would say she fits in just fine.

I'm not one to defend Black Panther as I didn't like the first one, but I think it's tough to say you don't understand it without seeing how/why they do. They have done this consistently throughout the MCU, it's all about execution.

Some of the topics brought up in this thread after one teaser and one trailer are interesting, to say the least. Whining about Namor’s race, claiming Tenoch Huerta to not be in shape and having a “dad bod” (W-T-F?), bringing Top Gun into the conversation, claiming that Namor’s feet wings look “goofy,” when that’s literally part of his character design, calling the addition of new characters “complicated,” almost obsessing about how the film is going to do at the box office, etc…

Yep…”danger, will Robinson”

Don’t like the “toss em in there!” Trend.

It’s as though Disney doesn’t seem to understand that comic books were always fringe…
They seemed to with the slow “human” development in the original MCU series…now it’s kind of a free for all.

First time on one of the “movie” threads, huh?😎

Ironheart easily could have been in "Armor Wars" or if they somehow brought back Ironman.

Meanwhile Monica Rambeau, which makes no sense for Wandavision, should have been introduced in "The Marvels" or another Captain Marvel related thing.
Why don’t you actually wait for the movie to release and you actually see it first? But maybe Tenoch Huerta is too fat for you, so maybe not?

Riri probably will be in Armor Wars. That’s why this is just an introduction. She’s going to do more projects. It’s odd to be mad about something we haven’t seen.

Did you watch WandaVision? She was a Sword agent. Sword was the antagonist to Wanda. What isn’t making sense? Using this logic you can’t introduce Black Window in Ironman 2 because she should only be in a spy film.

Exactly. There is a difference between watching a trailer and thinking "That really doesn't appeal to me" versus thinking "That movie is terrible because xyz and listing the reasons why you probably won't like it and arguing that everyone else should agree"

The opposite is also true.

Don't forget the rebuild of the Fantastic 4 also. I am hoping the don't do origin here like last Spiderman and just move forward with how they get integrated into MCU. Between X-men and FF you have a ton of ground you can cover, especially if we get Dr. Doom as well.

He was a ton of fun, totally agree with you there.

I have wondered for now decades about FF?

They can never seem to get it right…bad direction?, bad management?, bad stories?

Can’t get it right. I think maybe it just doesn’t translate to media? Possible.

Doom is top 5 baddies…no doubt. They need to knock that out of the park. Julian McMahon did a passable job. MCU needs better.

I personally think its because all they focus on for the most part is how they have to handle their powers and focusing on powers and not on the team aspect and wanting to save the world. One reason I don't want an origin story and instead want the FF that goes out and kicks butt on evil and saves the world.

Add correct choices for roles, so the actual personalities fit, and I HOPE the MCU will do this right.

I go back and forth about whether I think T'Challa should have been recast. Sure, John David Washington (and others) could have made a great T'challa, depending on whether he or someone else could do the voice. However, I understand and am good with the decision not to do it. It's a tough call. They could have waited a few more years and then recast him. I also fully understand that there will be a LOT of people who just won't see the movie because Black Panther and T'Challa are synonomous (despite that others have had the mantle including Shuri). It's going to be tough. I hope that people who honestly and genuinely review the movie do so for its own merit and not for what they would want them to do about casting.

I will say, though, having a multiverse BP/T'Challa would have been the WORST and MOST ridiculous and insulting thing. Nobody from another universe would ever have the right or justification to take the thrown in this world. Give the mantle to Shuri, or Nakia, or Oyoke, or M'Baku and that is fine because they are all part of T'Challa's family (some literal and some figurative). Bring in a child of T'Challa who has been hidden and kept secret by Nakia while the snap happened to protect him. Whatever! But I am glad (assuming it does not ever happen) they aren't bringing in a multiverse T'Challa. Just wouldn't work!

Saw videos where the host talked about how Coogler didn't just lose his main actor, he lost a friend- a DEAR friend. We need to respect the Coogler will have poured his heart into this project in honor of his friend.

PLEASE take on Avengers: Secret War, Ryan, PLEASE do it! Make it happen Kevin!
