I agree with this entire post, but surely people (especially us old-timers) can find more constructive ways to go about disagreeing with new posters' information?

Yeah, probably. Although I must admit, personally, that my reaction is usually something along the lines of "Ugh... Here we go again ", and I usually respond accordingly. :lol:

I can only take so many ReDisney-eDew's (or however goofy way he spelled it) before I snap. :lol:

I think we all knew that Pixar was going to be exoaned upon. It is hughly popular and with all of the great movies they put out every couple of years, it was kind of a given.

Then just be careful when choosing your subject title. Something called "Big wdw news" better actually contain big wdw news. If not, expect a virtual bruising ;-). That pretty much goes for any internet forum these days.

Even our most respected insiders(ie Lee and Raven) can't post a rumor without being flamed and put under the microscope. This is just the way the intrawebz work.

Very true. I know a ton of information yet can't post most of it due to this and other reasons. So I keep most of it to myself and everyone else will truely have to just "wait and see."

The "Legal issues" are that: There is a copyright on Mann's Chinese Theater, therefore, you cannot see it when you first walk in, resulting in the reason why they put the hat up; so that you don't see it when you walk in!

Please keep in mind that this may or may not be true as this is a rumor.

And I agree with you! It gets so old. You don't wanna know my first thought when I read this thread. But I just hope we can do this discussion without belittling someone! I think everyone should be able to enjoy these boards. They are awesome. I have been a reader of wdwmagic for about 3 years now. I just think people should be nice. And it shouldn't take 8 pages for everyone to get their rudeness out. I am pretty sure all the mean posts are the same posts with different words over and over at this point. And I am not saying that you have to be all roses and daises either. Just be nicer.

I see people shooting down rumors, telling the OP to word his observations better and that Guest Relations CMs don't actually have inside information that they can share, and the then rest of us poking fun of the whole thing. No one is being mean to the OP. And if the OP can't take criticism on a discussion board, then he shouldn't be on a discussion board. People need to lighten up! It's a Thursday...the work week is almost over...now we can't have some sarcasm on an Disney Internet Forum? :brick:

I don't know how new you are on this site. But you have to understand that these forums are filled with the most negative disney fans I've ever seen. Don't even listen to any of them. Nothing can please these folks unless they get new big rides every 2 years and a new park every 5 years. For how much crap they talk on Disney, most of them still go to WDW all the time and still have a great time. Then come back home to come on here again till their next trip. Don't even bother with anything they say.

Yes, you probably could have Titled this Thread a little better. It wasn't technically "Big News", but if it's true that we will hear news on the FLE or anything else, that would be awesome. Just be prepared... about 2 minutes after you hear any official announcements, you will hear the complainers in full force yet again.

Without question, I think Pixar Place will expand. It will happen eventually. People just have to be patient. What most don't understand, it takes careful planning and time before you can start diggin and building. Being in construction for years, I know that project planning takes time.

yeah i honestly think they're going to put all their focus on dhs after the fantasyland expansion. but i dont think we'll see anything new until a few years after the FLE opens.

they might use them in different ways like
1 example - associating your name with your theme park ticket, and then while in an attraction, a character refers to you by name....after it retrieves it from the system database...

Another use - tracking your movements throughout each park, wait times in lines, fastpass use or non-use, shopping/eating patterns, etc.
