Yeah, an observation is the same as a thread being locked down. Keep it in perspective........

well from what she told me is that the annoucement would be in the next few weeks. i think someone should call guest relations and ask the same questions just to see if we get the same information. the hat needs to put to rest. they aren't moving it. no matter what issues there are it's staying.

And then when you are done with that, call the IRS and ask them the same question over and over and see how many different answers you get. Case in point!

This discussion is starting to resemble the stoller, scooter, Stitch, DHS Hat, and bus ride posts !! Did I leave any rant subject out? Don't want to discriminate. By the way, to change the subject I have a non Disney question. I just opened a fortune cookie I got with some Chinese takeout from the other day and there was no fortune in it. Does that mean I have good luck or bad luck? :shrug: Boy I hope it is good, but now I am afraid to eat it or throw it away. Sorry I got off subject (not really:lol

I'm not bitter in the least bit. Just discouraged with the number of "fans" who felt it necessary to take excitement from one person and crap on it and jam it in the OP's face. The funny thing is. First of all, I don't see a real flow of information. People here get all up tight about information. If someone with less than 1,000 posts gives it, red flags go up, but if you have been here a while everyone believes you for the most part. I mean people have stated it before that, even in this thread, that Disney intentionally gives out misinformation to get people excited. What does it matter if an "insider" divulges information. If a big ride or a new park or a new toilet is being installled at WDW, it shows up in the permits. You just have to know where to get information. So if Raven came out tomorrow and said Mythical Creatures at DAK starts construction in two months, the flow of info would stop? No, it would just take some one else the time to check the permits board. I think it would be noticeable. I just kind of thought that if someone heard a rumor, anywhere, from anyone, that this was the place to put it. Or am I wrong in thinking that people are allowed to put rumors here? Unless you are in the cliq!

I too am new to this posting game and was criticised recently. I know of people that were able to buy another persons identity on eBay to gain credibility by obtaining that persons feedback rating, perhaps we can do that on here as well. Wouldn't it be great if we were able to buy a 1000 posts and suddenly be taken seriously? Perhaps this is part of the hazing ritual.

I agree with this entire post, but surely people (especially us old-timers) can find more constructive ways to go about disagreeing with new posters' information?

I agree that the delivery is more often the issue, not the message.

I have no access to permits and can't even begind to think where to find them, nor do I care to find them. My information isn't gained from talking to anyone, looking up any information on the internet or doing research on anything. The information I have isn't even from a "sorce" but is more direct than that. But I don't follow everything closely if it doesn't appeal to me.

Just a few years ago I was in the same boat is merely everyone else on this board: thriving for news and rumors about everything in WDW. I know what it was like and enjoyed any piece of information an insider could give. And now luck just dropped into my lap without me even asking for it. So I want to give back to the people here and share a little insight, even if it's just tidbits at a time. Some people have proven they can't handle it though.

But if Raven tells us they're breaking ground on BK at AK, you can bet I'm gonna poke fun at him. :lol:
