Congrats Magic on encouraging another young member to go elsewhere or not share info in the first place. The negativity on this board is sickening. Now if you had some blurry pictures of some nebulous plans around the hat, now we're talking.

I'll start this off by saying thank you to the OP for sharing your experiece with us, I know the information excited you and wanted to share. Also, a good number of members of this board tend to be elitest and take too much pride in their Disney knowledge, so just brush it off, your efforts are appreciated.

However I also must say that this is just a bunch of corporate speak that Disney employees are conditioned to converse in. Cast Members who work as tourguides/phone operators are bombarded by people trying to get insider info and they are specifically told what to say. By her telling you "you'll just have to wait and see" she isn't hinting, she's just not giving a straight answer. Chances are you could ask a guest relations cast membeor if they're building a rollercoaster themed to Goof Troop and theyll still give you a similiar answer. Its how they try to keep the magic and curiosity alive.

I just spoke with Anna from WDW. She received my e-mail about concerns I had with the new Fantasyland Expansion.

I asked her some questions about what was going on at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. She told me she couldn't deny or confirm anything that isn't solid because if it gets shelved then Disney will get some flak.

She told me that they have recieved A LOT of feedback about the new Fantasyland expansion and appreciate all of their guest's input.

With Magic Kingdom she told me that get ready to here an OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE NEW FANTASYLAND EXPANSION IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.

I told her about my views on the Snow White Mine Ride might looking weird in the "Enchanted Forest". She didn't respond.

With Epcot... I know this was a FARFETCHED RUMOR...but Illuminations isn't going anywhere. She told me if World Of Color would be brought to Epcot it would only be for a short time as it wouldn't fit in with World Showcase.

THIS I THOUGHT WAS EXTREMELY BIG NEWS....HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS!!!!!

She told me absolutely not will the Sorcerer's Hat be moved. She told me because of Legal issues there is a reason why the hat is sitting where it is.

I then asked her about the removal of the Backlot Tour. She told she hasn't seen anything about that even being considered.

NOW WITH THE BIG NEWS!!!! I asked her about the possibity of Pixar Place getting an expansion...She said...."You'll have to wait and see" In a teasing way.

And I'm sorry I didn't ask about the Yeti. As soon as I got off the phone with her it popped in my head. What do you guys think? I love it!!! I'm sooo excited. =)

I put the phone number into Google and came up with a blogger's plea to save Adventurer's Club - the blogger emailed Tom Staggs and received this email in response:

We received the message you sent to Tom Staggs and he has asked me to reach out to you on his behalf. We appreciate your passion for the Adventurer's Club and enthusiasm for our product offerings. We recognize that this 'entertainment adventure' was a unique experience and will certainly be missed by many loyal Fans, like yourself. With that in mind, you will be happy to know that our Creative team is constantly exploring options for us to reintroduce the spirit of the Adventurer's Club at our Walt Disney World Resort. Why...he was the very first Walt Disney World Imagineer!

and he had all sorts of inside scoops and future expansion and attraction plans and confirmed and denied rumors!!!

but then when we told him there was no such thing as a Walt Disney World Imagineer, only a Walt Disney Imagineering, he closed our threads...
