Best Attraction in the World: Future World East

Alright, the Magic Kingdom isn't quite closed yet, but there will be a final after the Tomorrowland voting ends. To keep things moving, it's time to start with Epcot.

I don't have the East vs. West definitions quite exact because I'm going for an even distribution. (Did you know The Seas is considered FWE?)

I miss Cranium Command. Wonders of Life would definitely make this whole thing more interesting. I also feel weird counting Innoventions as an attraction, but figured it has to be included (even though it was better years ago than it is now).

Anyway, this would have been Spaceship Earth before the refurb. Now it would have to be Test Track.

Spaceship Earth because it is the only thing left that is like the old EPCOT Center minus the descent.

Also had to go with Spaceship Earth, as its the only EPCOT Center-ish attraction left.
Test Track is so-so, Mission: Space is fine, but nothing special.

I went with Mission: Space.

Don't get me wrong, I like SSE, but I can't put it ahead of Mission: Space. I'm not a huge fan of Test Track either. I think it's so-so as well. I guess I was just expecting more from it and outside of the acceleration area, I really wasn't overly impressed.

Unless things have changed during the past year, it's not. At least it wasn't when I was in FWE.

Anyway, I went with Mission:Space. If SSE was still in it's '94 version, it would have won, but the current version just doesn't have that something special.

I went with SSE, but I really wanted it to be the former Jeremy Irons version. I'm not a big fan of this version, but it's still a classic and deserves my vote.

I had to go with Test Track -- don't get me wrong, I like SSE, but I just couldn't vote for it after what was done to it after the last round of "improvements".

It would have been SSE but after they ruined it I could not vote for it. I went with Test Track. I really wish they had not changed SSE it was my favorite

Hear Hear!

The '94 Irons version was my favorite, with the '86 Cronkite a close third. I'd take the original '82 Perrin (or Larry Dobkin?) version over the current Dench pile of filth, but thats a whole other story. (It should be noted that I never even went on SSE that early, but I would rather hear static than that woman's horrid ramblings)
