Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

So one of the vlogs I watched (can’t remember which one at the moment) mentions the possibility that the ride system for the new Avengers attraction could be the ride system they re using for Peter Pans new ride at Disney Sea. I believe @GiveMeTheMusic said it was going to be some type of indoor Ferris Wheel which is confusing but also intriguing. Would definitely prefer something unique to what looks like something more akin to Transformers. Anyway judging by the concept art I wouldn’t hold my breath for some new ride system. Especially not whatever they re using for Peter Pan Japan. Definitely looks like they scaled back from the Quinjet ride and scaling back typically doesn’t mean using some other new ride system.
At D23 Expo, I talked to an Imagineer at the park pavilion. He was standing near the Peter Pan ride vehicle. I told him how much I like the new technology of this ride vehicle and wish we could have it in the states. He told me to wait till Sunday because we were working on something with the Peter Pan technology; five minutes later, Chapek announced a new phase for the Avengers Campus during the Disney Legends presentation.

One youtuber thinks it is the flying gokart that was shown in one of Imagineering's tech demos.

Interesting. So what do we know about the Peter Pan ride vehicle? Other than it’s on a motion base?

DCA really does have potential as a theme park and I don't care what anybody says. You have the lands that already exist/have existed, such as Sunshine Plaza, Buena Vista Street, Hollywoodland, Bountiful Valley Farm, Carland, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf, and Grizzly Peak. On top of that you have the obvious additions, such as Spanish California, San Francisco, Chinatown. Then even more, there's the more fantastical ideas relating to California, such as Discovery Bay or a land dedicated to the Island of California myth.

Instead we have Avenger's Campus.
I have such a soft spot for DCA precisely because I loved the concept of a park celebrating California in myth and romanticism.

DCA for me now feels a lot like what I imagine Epcot is for old Epcot lovers; the bones of the park are still there and you can still recall the really good parts of it, but walking around it now feels like a shell of what it was/could be. Shame.

And no thrill ride related to Bigfoot! 🤣

Someone on Twitter shared some of the conceptual renderings of both Avengers Campus and what the E-ticket was supposed to look like (from this portfolio and this tweet); thought it was worth sharing (or resharing) while we're talking about this:

You can see from the concept art of Avengers HQ that the two-seater looks awfully similar to that go kart in the sky.
What happen to all the trees they were going to plant?

They did attend in 2019. It was there that the majority of the information about the Quinnjet attraction was revealed. There would be a nice poetic symmetry if the same is true of the Multiverse attraction.

Here's what came from the parks/experiences panel at NYCC today -

Wait so they posted on social media to hype up the Marvel/ parks panel at NYCC and all they said is “more details to come.” Lol. What’s going on with these conventions? For example why didn’t they announce MMRRs opening date a few weeks ago at D23? The older I get I realize that these corporations don’t have it any more figured out then we do. They re just made of people that miss deadlines and are winging it just like us.
