Yes, there was a permit a while back to install the screens in FoP.

Maybe but they are so different I would find it hard to compare. One thing I am sure of - this is a lot more impressive than the day they dropped Beast's 15 foot tall castle on the top of BOG!

I know nothing at all about construction or engineering, but for those of you who do...Is this project as complex as it seems to me as a layperson, from an design, engineering and build standpoint?

Talk about doing what has never been done before!

I like the dragon, but it is a static figure. If it moved, not much could beat it, but since it doesn't I think this will trump it.

Awesome. Look at the guy just below it for reference as to size. Didn't realize they would have pieces built off site to install, which will hopefully lead to a quicker completion

The other fact regarding the size perspective is that this particular mountain is most likely a forced perspective piece. It now helps me realize how large the other pieces are. We also now get an idea of the aesthetic of how this will look outside of models and concept art.

And yes, this will be both beautiful and awe-inspiring. Do we think that these higher mountains will also have bioluminescent elements?

And for me personally, this will now possibly be the most impressive park structure in any of the Orlando parks. I still love the ToL though!

Good question. I think the dragon is just a great "show" and would probably be more memorable to the majority of guests, but the floating mountains will likely have a much greater visual impact on making the surrounding land complete/impressive/immersive.

Just think this is one small piece of what the mountains will end up looking like. This is going to be one the most imersive projects ever done. These mountains themselves are an attraction.
