Well done hyperbole.

I agree with most of what you say... except for the fact that if Disney had done with Uni is doing and one up'ed them... there would still be people complaining about it on here
Well, you are probably right. But people will complain about anything. The issue right now is that the complaints at the moment are legitimate. We all came here as fans, and for a decade now have had to shake our heads in horror as we have watched TDO neglect our beloved parks. Being financially driven is fine, but you also need passion for your product to truly be successful. Uni seems to have passion right now.
Sometimes I wonder how much of Uni motivations is Passion or Comcast desire for revenge. Either way it doesn't matter, Uni is cranking out some nice stuff and I am waiting to see Disney respond.

Passion and confidence, mostly. The WDW/UOR hatred that some fans have basically doesn't exist in the comapnies' eyes. There may be a friendly competition, but Universal isn't angling to put WDW out of business. Comcast has just seen tremendous success with their theme park investments, and will continue doing so until they stop increasing guest spending and attendance increases.
Those are both passion. Whether Steve Jobs was motivated by his love of Apple or his hatred for Bill Gates, he passion to deliver the best products were what mattered. Disney won't respond because financially, people are still coming in droves and they don't care about their product, as long as the financials keeps churning the profits. Pixie Dust is powerful stuff and its hard to break the WDW habbit. Disney knows this. But, eventually, they are going to need more than nostalgia.
I don't think they should build Star Wars Land in DHS and turn around and do Star Wars Land 2 (to expand it) in EPCOT
Now, if they decide to do a major phase 3, that might be another story.
Really hope this is not the case. Sounds just like recycled version of soarin. Seems like uni is pushing the envelope and Disney is falling behind
I guess its cheaper to show a 3d movie then to actually create show sets
one big problem with that ride, that is not often mentioned is how single riders get hosed every time with a crappy seat at the end with a great view of the side of the screen
Pushing the envelope.... FJ. Gringotts. Even Hogwarts.Uni newest rides are just similar to other rides. Transformers is Spiderman, Despicable Me is rethemed Jimmy Neutron. Simpsons ride is rethemed BTTF.
Granted they have built more but other than HP, how have they pushed the envelope other than an accelerated construction schedule?.
d'oh!!!One big problem with single riders is... they don't acknowledge they are second class boarders.
One of the differences is that at least DM is an improvement over Jimmy as opposed to Stich vs. Alien Encounter or what the new Imagination is for example.Uni newest rides are just similar to other rides. Transformers is Spiderman, Despicable Me is rethemed Jimmy Neutron. Simpsons ride is rethemed BTTF.

To say this is just a rehash of Soarin is generalizing it.
It is a dressed up commuter train to the other park. It should be a 100 percent family-friendly attraction.
a new magic wand interactive experience in both lands,
I wasn't referring to Olivander's.Holy cow, (s)he's back!
And not locked up in some sort of secret Universal Creative prison ship off the coast of Signapore!
Is this referring to the Olivander's going into Diagon Alley? Wouldn't the original shop need to be closed for upgrades?
Or are we talking about a land-wide, RFID-based attraction/game on the same scale as the "Treasures of the Seven Seas" at Adventureland?
...because Universal really ought to implement a project along those lines, assuming they can build around patents.
something like that would pay for itself in resin-cast wand sales in the first 25 minutes.
I wasn't referring to Olivander's.
Oh do tell. PleaseI think Uni has already purchased a new envelope.
