I did that a few years ago. If you are doing it in the morning it's great because there's no one in World Showcase except the CM's cleaning up and getting ready for the day. They give you a very nice tour and alot of trivia too. Then when your all the way at Italy they let you zoom around for about 15 min. I had a blast, and it's a great toy if you have the money.

I did this last year and it was sooooooo much fun. I also got to see a lot of things in WS that I'd never really taken the time to look at (partly cos they're so busy during the day so you can't see then properly)

Have fun and don't forget your camera. The CMs take your picture (no PhotoPass photographer) with your camera in Italy with SSE in the background.

I've done this tour three times and I'd do it again in a heartbeat - it's so much fun!

WE did this on our Honeymoon last year...it was so much fun....be warned though once you are finished the tour you will not want to walk anywhere for the rest of the day....you will want to ride a segway!!!!! lol

Worth the Money! Lots of Fun!

My DH and I did the tour at the end of March and had lots of fun. Going through the WS is lots of fun!

I'm so glad to see so many positive responses! I'm doing the 9:30a tour on the 5th of December. I wanted to do the 7:45 one, but that's too early for me!!

Remember WS opens at 11:00, so for the last half hour of your tour, you'll be zipping around guests as well. I took the the 9:30 am tour too, and some of the comments/looks from guests were hilarious! You'll have a great time.

My family did it a couple of years ago during the Flower show - it was fantastic!
DH and I are doing the FW one in February - can't wait.

JUST FYI - you also can get a AAA discount on these tours if you're not DVC or AP or whatever.

You can also get a discount if you book the tour with your Disney Visa. I surprised my husband with the tour a few years ago. He was so excited about it and he still tells people all about it:wave:

You will have a great time! the Segway tour is excellent, even after the 4th time!

I also recommend after the Epcot tour the less well known Wilderness Back trail Adventure at Fort Wilderness using the Segway X2's (chunky wheels). Less training, more time riding and the cast members are a little less fussy about the rules since you are mostly in areas not populated by guests.
