Are you ready for some Football?....:):)

Agreed. I'm just not impressed with him and his attitude. Is he always this aloof and distant?

He has a rep for not giving away a lot to the media, and supposedly only opens up around his inner circle.

I've had to play Chris Meyers' role in that interview (on a much smaller scale, but having to ask questions of somebody who clearly has no desire to talk to you and wants to get it over quickly), and it's always an awkward feeling.

Those interviews are always awkward, but he's been like this all season (and before?), like he's got a chip on his shoulder against the world.

(By the way Scott, I agree with you. Brian is the perfect Boston fan.)

See, that's the problem. I hate all the Boston teams and Brian is too nice/good of a fan for me to be nasty to him. A lot of people could take lessons from him on to win and lose graciously.

Exactly! It's so hard for me to deal with all Boston/NE fans around here because they're 99% unapologetic jerks. Brian breaks that mold every single time and almost makes you pull for his teams because of his class and sports ethic! :brick:

I guess there's exceptions to every rule!

 Believe me, I wanted to walk in front of a truck last night.

Grown men were crying where I was...it was sad. I just came to the realization that both teams left it on the field, the refs didn't interfere, and the team that played better came out on top.

Then I came to another realization...

Dice K, Beckett, Wake, Papelbon, etc. report in a few weeks

Congrats to the Giants - great game, and the better team absolutely did win.

Beast SB in a long time!

But if NE had only gone for that FG when they had the chance...... :brick:

Well guys, you may be surprised to hear that that was the first American football game I've seen. It was fairly easy to pick up the rules and it turned out to be a great game.

I was routing for the Giants simply because I found out that the player Tynes was born in Scotland. Had no idea who was predicted to win so it was good to see the team I chose won!

Will definitely be watching a few more games in the future. The NFL's popularity has greatly increased here in the UK.

Congratulations Giants - Commiserations Patriots

And so much for the Patriots playing 60 minutes of football when their coach wouldn't stay on the field for the final play. He's catching heat over that one.
