I agree about the commercials - the only one I really liked was the one with the horse training with the dalmation to make the team. Everything else was just weird. (PS - does Terry Bradshaw have a sore throat or waht??!!?)

And then there was the guy who attatched the power cords to his nipples... did they really think that was going to be funny? That had to be one of the strangest, most messed up, random commercials ever. Maybe not as much as the infamous Snickers one from last year.

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

God I wanted this win so badly, it made it that much sweeter. And an all time classic game to boot. I'm still shaking from being tense for 60 minutes.

I can't wait to finally be able to see my team parade down Main Street.

I always shook my head in disbelief when people would line up for hours before a parade, BUT looks like I get to eat my words, happily of course :sohappy:

If you can't be original and funny, just be as weird as possible is I think the motto of a lot of companies who buy Super Bowl ads. As long as you're talking about their commercial afterwards, they're happy.

But the thing is, I have no idea exactly what those commercials were for.

When the Giants made the playoffs, people said to me "They have no chance in Tampa Bay!!"... I said, you may be right.. Then they advanced to play the cowboys.. Same people "No way they will beat the Cowboys in Dallas!!" I agreed they were probably right... Then on to Green Bay and the "They don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of beating the Pack in Green Bay!!"... My problem was that I listened and believed them which is the number 1 mistake as a fan.. The one thing I think everyone can agree on is that every game, the Giants seem to find a way to try and give the game away... That is one of the most frustrating thing about being a fan of theirs. Those of you who are fans know what I am talking about... I think they are this years team of destiny, and will beat the Pats!!!

Go Giants!!!

Wish #1 came true!!!

What a great game. I chewed off all my nails and had my eyes covered at the end. I'm so happy for Eli-I think Howie Long said it best when he said we saw Eli grow up before our eyes tonite. And I loved that Peyton stayed up in the box and didn't take away from Eli's moment. I love the Manning's.

And I loved seeing Tom Brady laying on the ground. :lookaroun No, seriously, I thought the Pats played a good game and must be horribly disappointed. I thought it was a little un-classy for all of them to run off the field before the game was even over, and not stick around and congratulate anyone, and even less classy was the interview that Belichick gave (can he not even muster up a little credit for the Giants????) but I'm trying to chalk all that up to just being disappointed. They had a great season-nothing to be ashamed of.
