Oh, that sounds like fun! Too bad you'll all have to watch them lose... :lookaroun

Now now...be nice

I am a die-hard Pats fan (have been since I was little) but even I am nervous about this game. Week #17's game could've EASILY gone in the other direction.

3 points! THREE POINTS! Their offense walked ALL OVER our defense.

Joanna...I think everybody can go into this SuperBowl knowing that both teams are going to leave it all on the field...and after the 60 minutes (if not more) are up...the team hoisting the trophy will be the one deserving of it.

Let's just hope the refs don't interfere too much and they let the teams play!

Joanna and I have an understanding.... she thinks the Giants will win, I think the Pats will win. It's all in good fun. Right, Jo?

You are right, though, Brian.... it will be a good game and I hope the refs call the game fairly for both teams.

Uhhh Brian... Due to the amazing play called the Annexation of Puerto Rico, the Little Giants won their championship game. Also, Rick Moranis as your coach in ANY sport spells victory. :lookaroun

I was just thinking about the movie "The Gameplan." Since it was released this year, they made the Championship game for their version of the NFL be in Arizona, just like the Super Bowl this year is. The team that The Rock plays for is the Boston Rebels(who use Gillette Stadium) and I think, if I remember correctly, they play New York in the Championship game. Just found that kinda funny.

I'm off to send the Pats off to Arizona this morning! There's a Rally to wish them off...

Hopefully I'll be able to take some good pics.

Yeah. If he were going to come back for anything, he would have come back for RAW XV. It's a shame he didn't, because that would have been great. They got almost everyone else back. Oh well, it happens.

Let's set the mood...

Parking lot opens at 9:00AM

Send off Rally begins at 10:00AM.

We leave expecting to get to the parking lot at 9:00AM on the button. (This is just a rally, not a real game...we should have no problem)

Getting through traffic and not even getting into the stadium parking...we decided to park at the new "Patriot Place" complex.

We walk through the gates at 10:00 on the button!

It was a balmy 23 degrees with a slight wind of 15mph and a steady snowfall. (You know, a beautiful day in New England  )

15,000 Pats faithful turned out to watch the boys get on the buses. Robert Kraft was very hospitable as he supplied the entire crowd with free hot cocoa, tea, and coffee.

They replayed, without commercial interruption, the entire San Diego playoff game and had some guest speakers of Patriot past.

Scott Zolak, Gil Santos (who MC'd the entire rally...and is the voice of the New England Patriots), Gino Cappelletti, and Andre Tippett.

A Patriot cheerleader routine followed. (WHY COULDN'T WE PLAY IN MIAMI :lookaroun )

An incredible montage of Pats highlights throughout the year played prior to the team coming onto the field. (I seriously wish this was available to download).

The Patriot Militia marched down the endzone...to the center...and then continued to march to the 50 yard line. The Mozart began to play...it ended...then you hear...(as all Pats fans know...)

That wonderful laugh of Ozzy. HAHAHAHAHHAHAH.....

The Crazy Train was on a roll...the militia aimed, fired, and they all came out.

Dressed like they were straight out of a GQ magazine. (Yes, even Bill Belichick).

Belichick stood...practically speechless as the fans roared.

Gil Santos announced "The man with the most photographed foot" up to the stage next.

Brady (without the boot) wanted to play today.

Then Seymour followed...and Junior Seau (who, in old-school pep rally fashion, got the entire crowd into it)...and finally Tedy Bruschi.

They all walked onto the buses (BTW, Brady was NOT LIMPING AT ALL!)

I couldn't get as close as I had hoped due to the traffic, but I got some pics anyways.

I watched the Royal Rumble last night and they had a segment where one of the WWE Superstars commented on New York sports teams in general and on the Super Bowl. There's a clip of it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pw2KzdwUsn8

Just skip ahead to around the 3:05 mark since the build up is one of those ridiculous "Kiss Cam" things, followed by one of the Divas(Ashley) asking the other Diva(Maria) if she wants to pose for a certain well known men's magazine. This is what causes the Superstar(Santino) to come out from backstage with a "special guest."
