Let's set the mood...
Parking lot opens at 9:00AM
Send off Rally begins at 10:00AM.
We leave expecting to get to the parking lot at 9:00AM on the button. (This is just a rally, not a real game...we should have no problem)
Getting through traffic and not even getting into the stadium parking...we decided to park at the new "Patriot Place" complex.
We walk through the gates at 10:00 on the button!
It was a balmy 23 degrees with a slight wind of 15mph and a steady snowfall. (You know, a beautiful day in New England  )
15,000 Pats faithful turned out to watch the boys get on the buses. Robert Kraft was very hospitable as he supplied the entire crowd with free hot cocoa, tea, and coffee.
They replayed, without commercial interruption, the entire San Diego playoff game and had some guest speakers of Patriot past.
Scott Zolak, Gil Santos (who MC'd the entire rally...and is the voice of the New England Patriots), Gino Cappelletti, and Andre Tippett.
A Patriot cheerleader routine followed. (WHY COULDN'T WE PLAY IN MIAMI :lookaroun )
An incredible montage of Pats highlights throughout the year played prior to the team coming onto the field. (I seriously wish this was available to download).
The Patriot Militia marched down the endzone...to the center...and then continued to march to the 50 yard line. The Mozart began to play...it ended...then you hear...(as all Pats fans know...)
That wonderful laugh of Ozzy. HAHAHAHAHHAHAH.....
The Crazy Train was on a roll...the militia aimed, fired, and they all came out.
Dressed like they were straight out of a GQ magazine. (Yes, even Bill Belichick).
Belichick stood...practically speechless as the fans roared.
Gil Santos announced "The man with the most photographed foot" up to the stage next.
Brady (without the boot) wanted to play today.
Then Seymour followed...and Junior Seau (who, in old-school pep rally fashion, got the entire crowd into it)...and finally Tedy Bruschi.
They all walked onto the buses (BTW, Brady was NOT LIMPING AT ALL!)
I couldn't get as close as I had hoped due to the traffic, but I got some pics anyways.
