OK, it is getting crazy here in AZ with all the Superbowl stuff

It is hard not to catch the fever. Especially because this means all those restaurants and shops some of us have been waiting for will finally be open at Westgate

I am not usually a big football fan, but we had a very recent death of someone close to my family. The Giants coach was among those taking the time to express his condolences. This makes 2 Superbowls in a row where I will actually have someone to root for

:hurl: This couldn't be any more of an un-interesting super bowl to 90% of America.
A team that nobody wants to win playing a New York team...... :hurl:

A team on the verge of making history playing a team that nobody expected to be in the SuperBowl.

You have the people that want to see perfection...and you have the Hate-riots fans that want to see this underdog knock them off. Seems pretty exciting to me (although, I'm a NE fan)

(Remember, this happens every year no matter who is in the SuperBowl...you have the fans of the two teams interested...and nobody else)

I knew that would get you going!!!
If I had to pick I'd go for NE.

:D

Actually, about your post...I only replied because I remember last year...there were people I know that didn't even bother going out to watch the SuperBowl that normally do because NE wasn't in it. I watch it because I follow it all year season long and want to see how it ends.

When the Giants made the playoffs, people said to me "They have no chance in Tampa Bay!!"... I said, you may be right.. Then they advanced to play the cowboys.. Same people "No way they will beat the Cowboys in Dallas!!" I agreed they were probably right... Then on to Green Bay and the "They don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of beating the Pack in Green Bay!!"... My problem was that I listened and believed them which is the number 1 mistake as a fan.. The one thing I think everyone can agree on is that every game, the Giants seem to find a way to try and give the game away... That is one of the most frustrating thing about being a fan of theirs. Those of you who are fans know what I am talking about... I think they are this years team of destiny, and will beat the Pats!!!

Go Giants!!!

I had a feeling that they'd win the first playoff game...and by the way they played the Pats in Week 17...they could very well win.

The only problem...

Plaxico guaranteed a 23-17 win.

Never guarantee a victory...it's just asking for trouble.
