Are you 23?

It's the same here... I'm disinterested, I'm not joining, I'm talking about that. I'm trying to let Disney see what they are doing wrong...maybe they will listen. Crazier things have happened. I seem to remember a large EPCOT event about two years ago that was VERY much a fan based action.:D

Thank you so much!:) I enjoy your feedback.

Not sure if I should take this as sarcasm or a real thank you. I'll give ya th ebenefit of the doubt since you seem like a decent enough person and I'll take it as a genuine thank you. :)

No, no, all real! I mean it:D:eek:
It's things like double-charging after hours parties, diminishing restaurant product while raising the price, cutting park entertainment when attendance "goes down," and other such niceties that blatantly demonstrate that TWDC thinks their customers are dodos, that really ticks me off.

I'm sorry, but I think D23, as it stands now, falls in this category.
Well said...

:) I was being fecicious with that remark. :)

And honestly, I see nothing cool about your club. But, that is my opinion.

Eh, some people will never see that Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars film, whatdagonna' do.
:shrug::wave:

I apologize if my posts came across as whiny.

They were intended to be derisive, mocking, lampooning, incredulous, and just downright hostile.

 :sohappy:

I'm sorry, but the only thing that makes me mad about TWDC is when they think their customers are stupid. I don't care about compromised backstory, cartoonization, unthemed coaster rail, etc.

Yes. A thousand times, yes.

You're right, of course...but it's what I call the George Will syndrome. (Actually, I just made up that term right now, but I like it.)

George Will is an articulate, even-tempered, thoroughly logical right-wing commentator who presents arguments with minimal emotion or personal malice...so he naturally gets drowned out by loudmouths like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

(For the record, I'm not saying Evan or Travis come off nearly as oafish as those guys...just that it's human nature to overlook the quiet, nuanced debaters for the more vocal types.)

I'm usually like that.

Until someone REALLY grinds my gears...

OK ... so now thanks to having a stockpile of Barnes and Noble giftcards, I am now in possession of D23.

Have only flipped thru it ... appears to be like most super models ... very easy on the eyes, but lacking substance.

On first glance, it did nothing to change my opinion that it is Disney's weaker answer to Tales.

Hope to read the thing over the weekend.

You decide there's no substance before actually reading it? I suppose those super models had no substance before they didn't talk to you?

I said on first glance ... I'll let you know what I think in depth after I read it in its entirety.

And no comment at all about any interaction I may have had with any super models.

Sooooo.... Um...

I feel kind of idiodic for posting this in such a heated discussion, but I have a question that I feel would be funner not to google, but to ask the panel on WDW Magic:

The "Where in Disney" feature is quite interesting. There's a pic of a stone house with flowers around it and a description of "Where in Disney" it is. Now, I can so far figure out that the pic is of England (they mention Fish & Chips), and they're in World Showcase (the lagoon), but where in England is this?? I've never seen this ever in WS. Can someone give detailed instructions on how to get to it? It seems like a lovely place to hang during a long day and a fantastic place to propose. But where is it??

P.S. The park stories aren't really "rumor comfirmations", but insight on how they were created and little stories of the past. A GREAT option if you don;t want to read every... single... online article on an attraction to find actual SUBSTANCE in it. And I like that some things on boards that are classified as "historical fiction" are proven to be true in the articles.

Sounds to me like you are talking about the garden section that is on the left of the pavilion if you were facing North.

I'd have to look at it again, but when I saw the photo I immediately thought of the little 'hut' in Canada behind the replica of Victoria Gardens.

I am 99% sure that is the location since they mentioned it being in an area with water flowing and gardens ...

Possible.

But they never specifically said it was in the UK ... I believe it only mentioned being close to a place where you could get fish and chips ... UK is next 'door' to Canada, so they are relatively close.

We shall see ...

It worked for me:

I've had an email saying "all international shipping costs are under review, unfortunately we can not guarantee the shipping cost will change". Like I said I won't hold my breath. Still waiting for my package which was shipped on 18th.

I'm curious about your review. I've learn to expect the unexpected from you after your reviews on AIE, and your KP experience at Epcot.

Interaction with super models is no big deal at all. I interact with them all the time. Well....that is if you count stalking as interaction!
