It's been way to cold the last few days. However, I just checked the weather and I see it's supposed to get up to 40F on Thursday! :sohappy:

BTW, there's no sarcasm in those clappy hands. A high of 40 would be heavenly.

Today was horrible. It has been snowing all day. It was awful trying to drive home. It took me 90 minutes to make a 40 minute drive.

Nothing like winter in the UP! I moved to Milwaukee 13 years ago and have enjoyed much easier winters since, except this year! We've had so much freakin snow I feel like I'm back. The biggest problem is that the snow plowers don't have any idea how to handle all this snow:(. I'm NEVER skipping my February trip to WDW again!:cry:

I was able to make it through most of the winter without feeling depressed or too cold. However, it seems like the past week has been bitterly cold, cold enough that my bones ache. I don't want to get out of bed on those days. At least I've spent the majority of my winters up north, though, and am used to the cold. I'm trying not to miss Florida too much.

Still, I shudder when I get my heating bill. Since I can't have it both ways (living in the northeast or deep south) I just have to be cool with living in the north and visiting my friends in Florida.

I'm gettin too old for these Chicago winters... I need to become a snow bird...lol :lol:

My right hand is icy when I'm on the computer. It's sort of weird. Could be because my computer is on the bedroom dresser and not my desk. Anyway, today warmed up slightly, enough to melt the snow. When I went for my walk, though, it was starting to snow lightly.

Yesterday's weather in C-bus SUCKED. All that slush everywhere and rain and rivers of chilly water running down the street. It was ridiculous. Worst weather in the world.

It's amazing how many people decide their medical emergencies really aren't so bad if the weather is crappy :ROFLOL: :rolleyes:

This weekend is supposed to be gorgeous! :D
We should hit 40 one of these days...before it's supposedly
going to nosedive again.

We got 10 inches of lake effect snow dumped on us a few days ago

Yeah, we just got back from WDW last Monday, and we live in Chicago, so it was like, WOW! I think the wind chill was below zero the day we got back... Right now though, it's only 31 degrees, so it's not too bad...
