That was by far the best Adam has done this year, IMO. It wasn't good by any stretch, but was miles ahead of last week's abomination that everyone seemed to love.

I thought Lil was the worst of the night. She started off flat and pitchy and her lower notes were a struggle, she belted out the chorus in standard over-the-top Lil style, but nothing was going to save her.

Adam was odd, but the vocals were spectacular.

Scott did nothing special.

I was pleasantly surprised by Kris and Anoop...they did the best of the night IMO.

The worst was Michael, Alexis and Scott.

Anyway I guess Michael should be the one to go...

I agree with you. I've always really liked Kris, and I am so glad that Anoop did well (even though I have him predicted to be the next one out on the contest!).

I've always thought that Michael and Alexis were overrated. Honestly, I think that Lil is overrated as well.

As far as Scott, I really like him and want him to do well, but he keeps having very forgettable performances with no passion in them.

as for Scott, what was Paula saying about hiding behind the piano. Come on, Paula you are suppose to be the sensitive one. He is blind, so it is hard from him to just stand there front and center singing.

Exactly. I thought that was odd of her to say that. And you can bet if he would have performed without the piano, at least one or more of the judges would have told him he should have used the piano.

There have been countless times through out all of the seasons where the judges contradict themselves. They'll tell a contestant that they need to try something different, and then when the contestant takes their advice the next week they tell them they should have stuck with what they are good at, etc....

Adam really should have been in the bottom three. America is voting based on personal favorites rather than who actually has the best performance. Of course, then again, maybe some people thought he had a good performance. I'm pretty sure Johnny Cash is turning over in his grave.
