Carly was in the bottom three? :eek:

I DVR'd the elimination episode, then jumped to the end and saw Kristy and Amanda clutching each other, so I knew it was the 2 of them but didn't know who the 3rd was. I agree, Amanda needed to go but there is no way Kristy lasts another week. I also agree that Amanda didn't really seem to care that she was kicked off and perhaps seemed a little relieved. :shrug:

At best (and this is not saying much) I compare Kristy Lee Cook to Haley Scarnato. For me, though, she's becoming the next Sanjaya.

Seriously, her vocal skills are not on par with the other contestants (pleasant enough, from what I recall of her original audition, but nothing spectacular) and she has zero stage presence (heck, even Sanjaya had that).

I wasn't a big fan of Amanda's at all, but Kristy should have gone first, IMO. At least I won't have to hear her butcher another one of my favorite Beatles' songs, though :rolleyes: (I wish I could purge "Eight Days A Week" from my memory forever...she tainted that song for me).

That was the first time I really liked Carly. She was pretty nice sounding.

I hate to admit it. Kelly "Ick"ler -- pretty talented. I really liked that performance. She does look about 25 years older than 2 years ago though.

Wow...no one else tonight...

Alright, here's my assessment:

Great: David Cook, Michael Johns, Syesha, and Carly. (Even though they panned her, I thought she did well.)
Good: David Archuleta, Brooke White, and better than I thought she would be was Kristy.
Just ok: Ramiele, Jason, and Chickeze

To me, the bottom 3 should be the ok ones...with Jason going home. I didn't enjoy that performance. I actually tuned most of it out.

It was awesome, but who did they say originally made that version of the song? Ryan's voice kinda faded out (or a kid was screaming, maybe :lookaroun ) but he said it was done by somebody who was not Michael Jackson. :lol: I think :lol:

I'm guessing Ramiele is gone tonight.
