Am I the only one that hates the whooptie doo review?

I was in a conversation on how great that show is. Never again will I put my self thru a dinner and that annoying never ending show. It was like having to watch an hour long version with the electrical parade with the theme music playing full force all the way thru.

Presumably you mean the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

And no, I'm sure there are lots of people who dislike the Revue, just as there are lots of people who love it (myself being one of them).

If you didn't like it, you didn't like it. You're entitled to your opinion, but what was the point of starting this thread? Are you not comfortable with your own opinion? Do you need vindication from others?

Yes.
Shame on you.

I love it. Had my first dance with my wife there on our honeymoon.

But, I can see where it wouldn't be for everyone.

Shame.

Well, you hate it so much you don't know it's name!

Given its the longest performing show in performances on property and consistently sells out I'd say you're in the minority.

And considering the performers take breaks throughout the show to allow for dinner and dessert, I'm not sure comparing to a non-stop parade is quite accurate either....

The joy that my daughter has experienced in seeing this show on a couple of occasions is enough to make it a great place for me. There are times in life when you have to let go of sophistication and give in to a little bit of hokum.

LOVE Hoop Dee Doo. As a matter of fact, it was one year ago today that I saw it last, with my entire extended family, and it was one of the great fun nights of our lives!

Sorry, it's a lonely place, bein' hatin' on da Hoop.

We went on our honeymoon back in 95 and wasn't impressed. Maybe I was tired, pressed for time and not hungy since I had a big Prime Time Cafe meal. but I'll never say never again as maybe I just was a hater that day.

Yes the show is corny...and the food is only soso---except for the bottomless beer!! :lookaroun But we always have a great time and we laugh till it hurts and end up with some great family memories. My DH is a big, bald man and he always gets pick out of a crowd...does not matter the show (he has been in them all at WDW) and it ends up being a great night with fun being had by all. And I think i will planning a trip back in December. I want to see and hear the change for myself.

We saw it in 2010 and loved it. I guess maybe it's just not for everyone... Just as Le Cellier isn't for everyone or Tower of Terror isn't for everyone... To each his own.

Yes & no. We did it in 2005. It was fun. Glad we did it. Not something I've wanted to do in my 9 trips since. The food offerings didn't impress us & I can be as entertained doing other things.

i love it. it's fun, it's different. it's truly a unique experience.

last went in 2010 about two days after i proposed to my now-wife. she got called up on stage and was the can-can dancer at the end. afterwards, little girls were coming up to her all wide-eyed. it was truly a magical experience.

that said, to the OP: if you don't like it, it's not for you.

Why the attacks on the OP? The reason for a variety of shows being offered is that not everyone likes all types of shows. You offer enough variety hoping there is something for everyone. Not everyone likes every attraction and not everyone likes every restaurant, and not everyone likes every snack, and not everyone likes every resort. And all of that is ok because we all have different tastes and they are equally valid. So why jump on somebody just because they don't like a particular show??
