I don't think he did it... I think he is still with her... and he doesn't want to face us. You know, all of us, the crazy bunch of strangers deciding his life for him. LOL :) :) :)

Thanks everyone again for all the heartfelt comments and advice.

Well i had the talk with "NDL" a couple of nights ago, and we both decided that it was for the best if we ended the relationship.

And i took the advice of some, and i actually booked a four day trip May 20-24th the next day to celebrate my new found freedom.:)

Thanks again everyone...

My best wishes for you. There will be times you may question your decision. I hope they are very few before you find that very special person that loves you for who and you are.

Yes but this may be the trip..

that you meet that girl that Loves Walt Disney World. and she may be from your HOME TOWN.. and have the same wants and needs as you do..

and wants to be Part of a TEAM.. there is no I in team.. its US.. together..

or talk to your friends or co workers.. there may be that "special someone" who you have "over looked."..

let me say this.. My type of girl was tall, SLIM, and no .. I am 6'5". my wife of 32 years is 5'2" and from the dairy state.. WISCONSIN..

so maybe your "real type" is some one you really know you should be dating but haven't because of "eye candy"..

My wife is beautiful.. and the love of my life.. there was some one else before her.. and guess what , she wasn't the one.. and she has a different life..

Garth Brooks, sings a song, Thank God for unanswered prayers..

its too bad that he couldn't keep Little Garth at home with the "love of his life"...

I wish you well my friend.. better things are to come.. don't believe me.. stand in front of the Castle in Magic Kingdom before the park is going to close.

you will be convinced.

Good for you. Maybe this will be the trip where you find the Disney love of your life!!

Disney should have a singles weekend and have a convention somewhere on property and i'm sure mnay love connections would be made.:) Hey, when I was single I would have bought into that.

This is a no-brainer... Ask her to leave and on the way out the door.. say.. Have a magical day!

I am with someone who is not a Disney freak like me.. but goes with me.. and is totally supportive of my nuttiness... They say it may not be their 1st choice of places to go.. but because I love it... they love it! ( I really think they love going.. but won't admit it now) :ROFLOL:

I know it's hard to end a relationship, but you have done the right thing. She could never be "the one" if she didn't share at least a small interest in something that means so much to you. Not saying she had to like Dis, but to dismiss something that you love so much, well, that says volumes about her. And enjoy your trip!

Have a blast in May and do something new on this trip that you have never done before and have always wanted too...like a Keys to the Kingdom tour or a Sega way tour of Epcot!!!! Treat yourselft to something special!!! :sohappy:

First time wife and I went to Disney.. I swore I would NEVER GO BACK... it was crowded, hot, and I hated it..we went for our first -year anniversary as a present to her...

My wife grew up on Disney, I never went until I was nearly 18....

Then we had kids... brought my first-born.. and when he smiled and laughed at "Bear" from Bear in the Big Blue House.. I told her we are coming back from now on....

Don't lose hope.. people can change...

Wow, I can't believe out of the choice me and Disney or nothing she went with the option of nothing. Now I am sure there is a nice eligible single gal on this site who will be at Disney on those dates. You should start a new thread.
