All Tomorrowland, All the time (Has Disney given up on the TTA?)

Aha. NOW we agree. Well said, sir. :)

We generally do, its just that some of your legions of fanbois tend to kill the point.

I would like to see less upper/middle management but as in my line of work, upper management exists merely to justify their own existance.

I would really love to know what Rasulo, Crofton and their direct reports actually do in an day-in, day-out business.

In all the times i was at the mouse, I have only seen Phil Holmes out and about and walking the park, trying to be incognito. (No nametag, no ID). And i really don't trust this guy who's coming from transportation to be the VP of DAK. Studios needs to find its identity.

I'd like to see the Speedway updated to "Cosmic Highway" with electric cars and futuristic scenery.

Like Hong Kong! I really want it to be nice and peaceful in Fantasyland expansion comes in. I don't want to be on Dumbo and here the gas engines in the background, y'know?

Nope, a super strict cohesive storyline is what created this mess. They tried to theme all of Tomorrowland around one cohesive storyline with attractions that didn't last, and now we have 48 page debates about the destruction of a "great" story with the change of a narration which was due for a change a good 6 years.

Now look at the other lands. Changes can be made with out people screaming and crying about the smallest change. Sure, there can be some attractions that bind the lands together loosely, but for the most part the attractions were independent of each other, something that works much, much better, IMO.

AL is terrific.
Seems like that was the mistake...Modifying it without any semblance to the delicate theme. TL WORKED like this for a very long time. 94 to about 2001...They should have kept that line of theme going, IMHO.

However, I am optimistic for this new path...TTAP won't be so bad once it fits. :D

Al is great, sure...If the entrance wasn't falling appart and there wasn't a grossly gilded toy blocking my view.:lookaroun

You really are a doom and gloomer!

Disney is choosing to do better in other areas.

I know you want to wake up and see everything the way YOU wanted..but that will never happen.

You are one of those people who are never happy with ANYTHING

No, You don't know me very well... you're 100% off the mark.

My issues are with management and the way they treat the cast and the show.

I'm actually quite happy with the parks....

I'll call off the troops...;)

SO interesting about your thoughts on the "Management" or lack there of...It only runs perfectly concurrent with what I have recorded.

7 years compared to the 23 that wasn't New Tomorrowland? I respectfully disagree that it worked. Yes it was cool for us fans, but most guests didn't get it, and it's two cornerstone attractions were guest failures. I hate to say it, but they were. Where as the other lands' cornerstones are independent, there for freeing WDI to create what they want to.

The jt line of thought, I see...:lookaroun;)

Care to say where, T? :D

How bout the new fantasyland? As I've said, that is just the beginning. It started with the Haunted Mansion and spread throughout Liberty Square. Now it will sweep Fantasyland, and eventually reach Tomorrowland which is now being "prepped". AL will also get some sprucing up as will Frontierland. In the meantime, Epcot continues to get aesthetics improvements. And announcements are pending.

And there is the a full court press at DCA which is more amazing by the day.

And then there is Hong Kong. And probably China and the Hawaii DVC and new..........

So it can happen quick or they can do it right. Quality is never done in a hurry.

I doubt that...How hard was it not to see with all the references to a working city?!:brick::lol:

Agreed on the cornerstones though, this could work better. I hope it does.

Not to go off on an entire tangent, but how does the former VP of Transportation get a promotion to be the head of DAK after the summer he has had?

They already did that

I know its dated by now but the book "DisneyWar" really illustrates how the Eisner regime killed everything by committee.

Disney is such a huge corporation that every decision is made by a damm committee and I really don't think that the show is a decision that should be made by a committee.

Well, here we are again, jt...You saying lofty things, me agreeing with your thoughts, and saying that it's not done yet. I don't see proof, yet. I don't see anything to cement this line of thought, yet.

Inklings, yes,...Yes, I see work, but as usual, you jump the gun with the opinion as fact.

Not saying I don't agree, but just saying what's going on here.

So you think the FL announcement is a lie? And the HoP/Liberty Square refurb is what  tarps?

And I hear you rave every week about the new stuff happening at Epcot.

Trust me EE, it is happening. If you want to see the future of WDW spend time at mice age's photo updates of DLR. It is entirely over the top and THAT is the future of the ENTIRE company.

The Mom, my CAPS are for emphasis only. I'm not yelling or being argumentative
