All Tomorrowland, All the time (Has Disney given up on the TTA?)

The park is a money maker with F&G as well as F&W. People love Soarin and TT. M:S still draws people. ROE still packs in the crowds at night.

If you're talking the entire concept of having sponsored pavilions and what to do with UOE and the former WoL, then that is a problem. But its a problem that doesn't have to be addressed now. Its something that can be addressed within 5 years.

There's a lot of unused space in Epcot but really doesn't seem to be affecting park attendance/operations at the moment.

DHS needs the most help.

I think World Showcase is perfect.
Future world seems lost, I really can't put my finger on it though.

How? It's the least "stale" of WDW's parks. LS, Land, Imagination, TT, and M:S are less than 10 years old for the most part. Not to mention El Rio's major refurb recently.
Yes, but what message is being convayed? It's not cohesive, and it's theme is askew.

Exactly. Though, I would like to see it corrected sooner. :D

I don't think it's stale but when half the park reflects on our "future" its a lot of maintenance
The same troubles the Tomorrowland has sometimes.
I love the retro vibe from Epcot but most people think it's lame.

Its the sponsored pavilion concept of going to a theme park. They have an empty pavilion (WoL) and another one that could easily be changed (UoE).

The general idea is what to do with them?

What to do?! Re-haul FW to be a unified and cohesive place again. Stop having the architecture and the colors clash. Keep all the attractions focused on the future.

Easy, IMHO.

But this last part isn't easy. Especially in today's world. The future is literally changing every day. New technology emerges in the areas covered all the time, there's no way to build an attraction that can stay relevant for long in today's technological society.

What if they are based on Walt's vision of the future. :D
Since Epcot is homage to his last dream.:o

Trust me, if they were to build things in the style of something that could be timless (almost like Horizons, save for the fashion!( and easily update-able, it would work fine.

Someone else get it. :D

But then you run the risk of the rides becoming incredibly stale. The Future World concept was great and ground breaking, but fundamentally flawed from inception.

Sure, if you want Disney to slack off, be generic, mediocre, and fail.:hurl:

Sorry, but at some point reality needs to enter the discussion, and having to change basically every ride in the park every other year to keep them up to date is not a reality.

Besides, no part of FW is currently mediocre other than Imagination.

So then update them. You are thinking like TDO. The show needs to be maintained.

And that's realistic? I would think every 5 years, and not even, if they were to do things right.

Mediocre? In YOUR opinion. UoE, JII, Nemo....
So...:D

I think the foundation of Epcot was to be like a permanent World's Fair, not a theme park.
It's supposed to be both.
