Mybe I'm dumb, because fter riding SSE for the first time in 3 years on Friday, I liked it.

My dad's opinion about the ride, "It's about time they changed it."

And my dad is far from a Disney fan and didn't know of the changes until he rode it.

No, you are not dumb...:lol: I liked it, too.

The Descent and how bare and boring it is, is the only real problem.

I don't really consider my Mom and Dad huge Disney freaks, but even after they rode SSE for the first time after the refurb, their initial impression was one of, "Huh?" They don't read these fourms and had no idea what to expect, only that they had just refurbed the ride. While they think the personalization with the video is neat, they were both disappointed by the narration and descent after seeing the previous version. :shrug:

And at least Siemens is still interested in the ride. Im sure they will be able to use their influence after a while to get SSE finished. I don't think Disney wants to make a sponsor angry, considering the large sponsorship Siemens is paying for SSE and RoE. :)

My Mom and Dad did the same...Mom was more positive about it though.(The PC ROOM! It was HUGE!:eek::lol:)

And I agree with you on the SSE/ROE note. Don't forget they pulled the Wand.:D
