I never seem to have ENOUGH time in Epcot. My dream vacation (besides Hawaii) would be to go to Disney, ALONE. I want to just wander around the park, go into every store, ride every ride, eat every chance I get. I think it would take me a good 3-4 days for me to do everything I want to do at Epcot.
A dream of mine is to have enough time to sit in FW West, and drink it all in.

Ahhh....Bliss.:DEPCOT Bliss.

So there has been a lot of discussion about completing the SSE descent and adding a Tomorrow's Child soundtrack. I just rode the ride quite a few times and couldn't find too much of an unoccupied time where the new things could be added. Soon after you enter the blue starfield, the screen kicks on and occupies the majority of the descent. There is only a little bit of time (if you finish your video choices quick enough) for the rider to be concentrated on anything else. This area is right around where the video phone section (baby being born, fossil discovery, graduation). Your video then starts up for the rest of the descent.

Or is the idea to replace the entire section and not have the "future you" video? This just doesn't seem resonable since adding the screens was a large part of the ride update.

Some theories say that the questions will be relocated.

A while back there was also a quasi-confirmation from some on these boards that you're image was to be projected/displayed outside the ride vehicles (possibly on the triangles or what not). If that was to be the case, then it would be much more feasible to put other set pieces all along the remainder of the descent, where possible, since your attention would already be away from the screens looking out at the triangles.

Again, thats kinda what was said, but no ones really sure what was/is happening as far as planning.

It probably won't happen, but I'm hoping that Jay Rasulo and Bruce Vaughn will announce something during their keynote speech at the D23 Expo in September. It would be the perfect time. :)

Well for Cali Plans they might... Makes little sense for them to go into detail about Florida when they are talking to the California demographic.

I'd agree with you if this were just a small one-day gathering. But this is a major expo that will be attended by some of the most devoted (some might even say fanatical) Disney fans from around the world. Disney is pulling out all the stops for this, even going so far as holding the Disney Legends ceremony there. What better place to make announcements covering all facets of the Walt Disney Company, including Walt Disney World, than there?

Again, I really have no real expectations that they will do so. But I'm hopeful. :)
