Did you ever visit The Living Seas when it was in good shape? Before the Nemo overlay. For the first 5 years it was great, then they let it fall into a shape of dis-repair. The theming was exceptional.
Im not disagreeing with you that it gets a lot of traffic now, but it's so far from the original vision of Future World that it doesn't fit. The aquariums are in the same place, yes, but the exhibits and aquatic life in them are Nemo centered, and have been dumbed down to an extent. Trust me if you had seen The Living Seas as it was years ago, you might agree with me. All it needed was some updates to bring it back up to speed with the world, not a Pixar overlay.
I don't hate Nemo, I think it's a great film, I just don't understand what it's doing in Future World, but if you can enlighten me as to why, I am willing to listen.
... I will say that I agree to disagree with you. The Living Seas was one of my favorites. Wanted to go into Marine Biology as a kid, but realized I was terrible at science, so I wound up going into one of the creative fields instead. Thanks for the free pass. This site is terribly addictive.
