You know why. And you`ll soon see ;) :D

To be honest I wasn't thinking much of the new descent before but now....

:D Do you mean the EXTENDED DIRECTOR'S CUT with TONS of extra scenes, the added Black Freighter and etc., and a proposed alternate ending. (probably with the squid)?

I thought Watchmen was an outstanding film. Extremely close adaptation and excellent job by Mr. Snyder.

As far as the decent goes, I don't really remember the triangles everyone is talking about. The last time I went on the ride was in December, so unless it has changed since then, I must have missed them...

On this one I`m not surprised....

Aim low, and you won't be disappointed. :animwink:

Their an enigma. Sometimes they're on, sometimes they aren't. They have been written about almost as much as the mysterious curtain movement. :zipit:

Since this is all Epcot, all the time...

I recently got this gem on ebay for 99 cents and 2 dollars shipping and handling from a seller who didn't know much about it (don't you love those types of sellers...lets you get all the cheap merch you ever wanted:D).

It's from 1986 and while GM had done trip planners and auto logs throughout the duration of World of Motion, this one is a little nicer as it coincided with Chevrolet's 75th anniversary (1911-1986). It has never been used, with light wear, and is complete with letter, trip planner & auto log, and road atlas.

I love the WoM logo and can only hope that toyota or honda or whoever :lookaroun can revive it with a slightly new take on it, ala Siemens and the new SSE logo.

It was one hell of a time when car companies gave out nice little things. I remember all the items my grandparents have from Cadillac and Oldsmobile...hell I don't even think they give out flowers at one's local Lexus dealer anymore. :o

P.S. One of my favorite World of Motion items is a guidebook from 1994 (Remember how they gave out one every year?) As far as I can tell, the 1994 guidebook has been pretty hard to find. Every so often you'll find ones from the 80s and a few from 1990, 1991, but only once did I ever come across a 1994 guidebook, and that's the one I bid on and won. The 1994 guidebook does mention a future attraction coming to the Transporation Pavilion. I have no idea if they ever made a 1995 guidebook, as that was the last full year WoM was open...later closing on January 2, 1996.

I liked WoM, but Test Track is awesome and a much better replacement in my opinion. I really hope GM doesn't have to pull their sponsorship of it because it would really suck to see Toyota or the like take it over. GM is American and we want American companies to support Epcot.

Blah, can't agree with you at all. Test Track may be fun, but the ride has no message, and absolutely no tie to Epcot. At least in Toyota or one of the good car companies came in we'd get some forward thinking.
