Sorry, but with all this nostalgia floating around here lately, I couldn't help but get all lovey-dovey with my 90s Disney memories.

So here is the deal.

Post your FAVORITE and most fond memory(s) of Disney in the 90s.

One of my most fond memories of 90s Disney is getting excited as hell when I knew we were heading to our local mall. Why? Cause that was where they had the most badass Disney store EVER. Man oh man, it was almost like going to WDW or something man. It was the most remarkable experience of my younger years. I just ADORED going to the Disney store. And they used to have the most AMAZING stuff there! They had the coolest merchandise in the 90s.

However, I must say, no 90s Disney memory is more dear and exciting to me as going to the movie theater to see Aladdin as soon as it came out. Man oh man. It was........man. I'm getting goosebumps. Words cannot describe the wonder, the amazement that I remember feeling as I sat there in complete wonderment watching the most incredible thing my eyes had seen (up until that point). I'm telling you, my mother single handedly kept Aladdin merchandise out of stock for my sake. I was so into Aladdin, it was crazy. You name it, I had it.

MAN I MISS 90S DISNEY.

Man if you say man one more time I'm going to have to slap you man.

My favorite 90s Disney memory is eating breakfast at King Stefan's Banquet Hall. others include:

- Getting stuff like Sleeping Beauty and The Black Cauldron on VHS the day they were released.
- visiting Disney Store
- listening to the latest Classic Disney Volume CD in the car
- Seeing Mulan the day it came to theatres which was a big deal since I usually had to wait until Saturday to see the latest Disney release but right after school we went that day to see it. Too bad I don't really care for the film now.

Going to EPCOT'94. Wow. That was some park. A revitalized FW Central and the EPCOT Center classics were still around. That was the EPCOT visit of a lifetime.:o

Being obssessed with Beauty and the Beast. I watched it at least once every day when I was little. There's all these home videos of my parents singing "Belle", the opening song, while I walked around with a basket on my arm and a book in my hand, pretending I was Belle. :o It's still my favorite Disney movie.

And every year when a new movie came out (even though I didn't love it as much as B&B) I was that princess or heroine for Halloween. Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Esmeralda, you name it. I had every costume.

As far as the parks go, we used to go every New Year's with my mom's family. About 30 people, some of them old and painfully slow, trying to manuever the parks. That's not really a good memory, but definitley something I never forgot. And plus, I was deathly afraid of fireworks when I was that age, so on New Year's Eve, you can imagine how crazy I went.

Oh, and I sure loved that Hunchback of Notre Dame show at MGM.

My favorite was seeing the Disney Afternoon Stageshow in Mickey's Starland because Darkwing Duck was in it.

Also, riding ToT because that was a big thing for a 10 year old to do :)

Seeing episodes of the the Mickey Mouse Club being taped at DHS. In 1992 I saw MMC Rocks the Planet being taped and in 1994 I saw three episodes being filmed. Those have to be some of the best memories from the 90's.

I was working for Disney in the early 90's and that was a really great time to be working there. Also, it was right before the "coolness" level of Disney started to diminish a little bit. This was back in the early 90's when Frank Wells was still alive and Jeffrey Katzenberg still worked there. I remember I had a silver pass which would get myself and three other people into any Disney park, any time I wanted, 365 days a year. And I definitely got a lot of use out of that!

It was the in the 902 that I had my first trip to the World! My aunt and uncle took me and some of my cousins for 3 weeks over my 9th birthday.

I only have 4 really clear memories from that holiday

1) Sitting in the original Tiki Room, falling in love with it then coming out to realise tha the fake thunder was actually real thunder and our wonderfully sunny day had turned into a downpour! And stepping in a puddle that went up to my ankle!

2) Going to TL and spending so long in the lazy river that I took all of the skin off the bottom off my feet and my cousin's boyfriend had to give me a piggy back to the car (he was so cool to a 9 yr old girl!):o

3) Riding Snow White's Scary Adventures with my aunt and being genuinely scared every time the witch popped up as an old crone and screaming my lungs out!

4) Walking through the parks talking to my aunt and turning just in time to walk face first smack! into the Beast. He scared me that much I fell over! But both Beast and Belle stopped for photos and autographs with me.

I sure loved the 90s! Although I am an 80s child, myself.

Great time for Disney. I particularly rememebr around '95 into '96 on the Disney Channel they ran commercials for the channel that featured the Fine Young Cannibals singing "Good Thing" . Anyone else recall this? I just distinctly remember it because I liked the song. Anyway, the 90's were good times all around for Disney. :D

Horizons, World of Motion, Mr. Toad Wild Ride all existed; the opening of Splash Mountain!!!! And all of the great Disney movies (The Lion King really did it for me).

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe Take Flight/Dream flight was still around until the mid 90's or so. I do miss that ride as well.

Being a kid in Disney World was just a magical time!!!
