CONCEPT ART: Cast Costumes Revealed for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout Attraction
For a Guardians of the Galaxy ride it works very well.

Doesn't change my feelings on the destruction of Tower of Terror, even an "inferior" version.

What I'm most curious about is the role of the CMs. They're ushering people into the WPF (I'm not writing that out every single time) owned by the Collector, so should they have the same sinister behavior as the Bellhops at ToT? They can't all be wannabe StarLords.

I agree. If this place is owned by the Collector, they should all look like this.

I don't think all CMs should look like that, as that's a specific character, Carina. An AA of her somewhere in the queue maybe, but I think a more neutral yet cosmic feel that that the CMs appear to have works fine for the environment.

We did see another one like her in the movie so the Collector seems to have a thing for having whatever species it is serve him. I know it's impractical to actually do it but it is what would make sense in the setting. I did say I liked the costumes in another post but @Direwolf27 brought up a good point. Why would his servants all seemingly dress like Star Lord? Whatever GotG ride comes to WDW, I think it should be set on Xandar with the CMs being members of the Nova Corps.

In the comics, Carina is actually the Collector's daughter. While they never addressed this in the films, she is his slave, so even then I wouldn't think that would be a good role for CMs to play.

I'm neutral on the costume design. It's not terrible, but it's also not show-stopping either. They're "fine" to me. As for looking like Star-Lord, many characters in the film wear jackets like that, such as Yondu and the Ravagers. Since the Collector's museum is inside the outlaw infested area of Knowhere, it would make sense that they are dressed like that to me. But for something in WDW, I would definitely like the Nova Corps, or something else they introduce in GotG Vol 2 or 3 - to be the theme.

I think they should all wear Groot costumes and they shouldn't be allowed to say anything but "I am Groot"

Star Lord got his look from the Ravagers. In the beginning it's referred to as "Ravager garb." The Collector seems to only have slaves from what we've seen, not workers. Also this seems like a completely different location from Knowwhere.

The Collector's Museum is in Knowhere so unless they are changing the location from the film, then I'd assume it's based on Knowhere

The Collector only has one slave in the film, which is Carina. And that's his only worker we see. Really this brings up the bigger point of this being a 5 minute scene that they are making into an entire attraction. There is not a lot of content to go off of.

Do you remember seeing this in the movie?

It looks like a different location which makes sense. This is a being that collects things from all over the universe. He would need more than one place to put them.

Well, it is a remodeled hotel after all...
