Not my sources on this. This is all me (yes, like when I said Tom Amity was crazy, which he is in general, about the castle envy in China and I was wrong. Me. Not sources. My sources are damn near perfect when they provide me information I can share ... and 100% when it is stuff that I can't). This is me using info that sources have given me throughout 2016, but not recently, and using other info to infer a conclusion.

Martin, I trust. But I don't know his sources (as far as I know) and lots of times one group of people hear one thing, while others -- even working on the same project -- hear differently). BTW, that happened a lot with SDL. There was a very vocal Imagineering contingent feeding bloggers that all was fine on the project and that it would open on time. Others, knew better and shared that with me and ... it's history.

Disney can't open a damn thing on time any more. And with the money they throw at projects it really isn't a forgivable offense. This was a company that used to be able to build a QS snack stand over a weekend at night and open the damn thing.

Look at Disney Springs for another project. Disney is acting like it is all open and was for most of 2016. The reality is the project still isn't finished and won't likely be until the end of this year, with some smaller things possibly pushed into early 2018. Just because you repeat a lie enough times doesn't make it true.

What's the saying? There are lies, damn lies and Disney lies?:devilish::greedy::)
Do you know what happened with the Apple Store that was supposed to go into Disney Springs? Is it permanently off the table, or is it just on hold?

There is a picture somewhere, but I think at best they are 1 deck taller and a few feet longer. I can't imagine they will add more than 10% additional passenger capacity. Any hopes that the new ships would be smaller than Dream Class but bigger than Magic/Wonder have definitely been dashed.
Ships generally are measured in not only height and length.. but also gross tonnage (capacity).
Mere 3 meters on an Oasis class ship added like 700 GTN if I remember correctly.
So the additional 5000 TN vs a dream class could technically give you 1 or 2 decks plus a bit longer.

I honestly believe the new ships will be taller. The "demo" images did show additional panels in the front. Kinda reminds me of the Oasis Class and its adults only area a few decks above the control/captain deck area.

Yeah they released some limited details when they were announced.

I must have missed where he hinted at those. Any chance you could point me in the right direction.
Its very hidden Im afraid. You will have to wage thru tons of posts to find exactly that post.
But I'm pretty sure it was in the 11th spirited thread.

Yes in a PR at some point it was a ballpark figure. And it was around the percentage I posted.
It was the Disney Blog right?

So in the course of my work I was forwarded an Email from an individual complaining about the new gas tax in PA, complaining how PennDOT is turning simple projects, that should be done quickly and cheaply into long Billion dollar projects, calling them DISNEYESQUE.

This means one either Disney is now known by the ordinary guest as the company that goes over budget and takes forever. Or second the individual who wrote that email frequents places like this, in which case I just wanted to let you know someone who read your email got your comparison and reference completely!

Is it a customer or someone who works in a field like construction?
