Not much learned here.

Sum up:
1) Mario finally will be home!
2) It will be awesome!
3) It's coming to all three Resorts! (Orlando, Japan, Hollywood)

Though it's nice have confirmation of what we already knew. That there will be immersive themed environments coming to all the Resorts.

Meh, will it be immersive or slapdash overlays and plastic mushrooms? If it's like Seussland, it'll be crappy.

Galaxy 2 is where it's at.

Although, any prime Mario is great Mario. The best news about Switch and the many ports from the WiiU it will be receiving is that more people will get to play the really outstanding titles that got overlooked on the underselling platform. From a pure quality per title basis, WiiU's batting average was through the roof.

That Zelda delay hurts...

C'est la vie. That's the price of the Nintendo difference. They live by Miyamoto-san's philosophy: "'A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever."

My guess is immersive. Nintendo is very protective when it comes to their IP.

Also, if Seuss was good enough to convince J.K. Rowling to go with Universal for Harry Potter...

I don't care much for Seuss myself but the way it was done is very close to the source material. I just wish they would update Cat in the Hat.
A third (or is that 4th) Orlando gate with this being part of it wouldn't surprise me.
Still in USF too though right?

To me, Suessland feels a LOT like ToonTown. To me, it's cheap, plastic, "just above six flags" level theming. but that's just me.

Seems like an awful long time for Universal's standards. Where is everyone crowing about their lightning fast construction?
Disney's timeline for Star Wars Land (announced Aug 2015): Likely 4-5 years
Universal's timeline for Nintendoland (announced May 2015): Likely 4-5 years
Disney's timeline for Toy Story Land (announced Aug 2015): Likely 2-3 years
Universal's timeline for Fast & Furious (announced Aug 2015): Likely 2-3 years

And yet people will still conclude that Disney takes too long and that Universal runs circles around them.

And with all that on their plate Universal still has the time to open a whole water park. It's about how they have things opening in relatively quick succession. Big things.

SM64 All day long son! 120 stars FTW!!

...I'll admit, I love Nintendo 64. It's my all time favorite console. So many good memories and I still play it frequently. Best of all, no loading, or updating and waiting.
So I take it you're happy with cartridges coming back on the Switch? ;)
I actually loved that section of the park, especially Roger Rabbit. Magic Kingdom's? Ew.

I believe Seuss's widow still keeps an eye on the land. Especially since if they add anything scary during the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios and Island Of Adventures (Mainly during it's first few years) then she would scrap the land entirely. I could be remembering it wrong.
