I don't think there's too many stealth UNI folks out there. They are pretty up front about it. And most of their biggest supporters were huge WDW fans to begin with. They just jumped ship when WDW's investment in new attractions slowed and UNI's went through the roof. Heck, look at @Disneyhead'71's username.

On the other side of the coin, it does get annoying when anytime anyone expresses a positive stance on something WDW they are immediately marked as a CM or Celebration Place cubicle dweller. There's no doubt those exist, but it's not every single glass-full fan.

Now that WDW is back throwing money around again I'm hopeful for the future, but as the prices continue to rise my glasses get a little less rosey.

In my mind There is a big difference between praising something like the new Drone Show or some of the shops and restaurants at DS or DAK at Night, which are legitimate improvements for the guest experience, As opposed to praising TDO for cuts in services/quality/Cardboard Olaf Shows

The former is legitimate praise which even I engage in periodically, The latter is being a corporate shill for disgraceful corporate behavior and deserves being called out on.

The food they serve, in most cases.

As opposed to the swill Disney serves these days...

Recipe for Slop (hunting camp food)

1 can mushrooms
1 can condensed tomato paste
1 can navy beans
1 kielbasa

Mix Mushrooms, tomato paste and navy beans into 1 qt saucepan using all liquids from can, cut kielbasa into bite sized chunks and add to vegetable mix bring to slow boil and simmer for 20 minutes.

Some add beer to mixture for flavor - your choice.

I love how excited everybody is getting over this incredibly vague video with pretty much no details other than a lot of buzzwords. Not to mention how long ago the Nintendo announcement was, and this is the only information they can give us after all that time? If Disney had released that video under similar circumstances, it would have been torn to pieces. Not to mention the turn around time between the Nintendo announcement and the apparent opening timeframes for the lands. Yet when Disney has similar time tables, they're taking forever.

And... now we're considering Volcano Bay to be a theme park? So WDW has six gates then? C'mon.

I love Universal too and think they're doing a lot of really quality work right now, but this all feels a little hypocritical.

Where? I've never heard it as any way other than four theme parks and two water parks, because that's what it is. But with Volcano Bay, for some reason everybody seems to want to consider it Universal's third theme park.
I think that Disney markets WDW as 6 parks overseas. Can anyone verify that?

I would consider it the same if it weren't the fact they have and had so much in the pipeline. Consistently putting out quality attractions every year with others coming until Nintendo comes online.
