Universal will want to rethink their Avengers E ticket proposal now for sure. RIP Marvel
Fantastic Beasts 'only' does $250 million DOM. No Phase 3 for you!!

I doubt Universal will care. If they can make money off of an E-ticket while Disney's films promoting said E-ticket underperform, it's the best case scenario :p Iron Man and Hulk are popular enough to warrant extensive upgrades, even without the rest of the Avengers. I'd also say GotG too, but I doubt Disney will let Uni get the theme park rights to them.

I don't know if that's a bad thing though as its bout to be Universal World of Potter with any other major plans. Rather WB give Uni Game of Thrones rights to Uni than a 3rd Potter expansion especially if its in IOA but if its to get rid of FF I'm all for it. Get rid of it.

I'd be fine with a Potter expansion if it involves the removal of Dragon Challenge. The amount of space taken up by two standard B&Ms who lack their signature gimmick... ugh lol. I know it's an extremely unpopular opinion, but I'd love to see the Great Hall and Forbidden Forest added here. You could fit a well-themed E-ticket coaster, a family dark ride, a walkthrough, a flat, a relocated Hippogriff and a show in DC's current space. They could also expand the shops to increase walking space.

I'd rather Fear Factor's spot go towards a London expansion (James Bond, Sherlock, Doctor Who.. so many options) and Lost Continent get either a revamp or rethemed to Willy Wonka/Roahl Dahl or given to Seuss.

Disney was 200 million while most publications were 210 to 215 million. All believed it would easily surpass the first.

I wonder if they factored in that it was apparently leaked online a few weeks ago? I saw it in the theater opening day and had a couple friends tell me they already watched it online a couple weeks ago.

Orlando will never ever get the great hall which will be exclusive to Hollywood due to the fact it will cannibalize Hog's Head sales due to the amount of people who would rather eat inside the Great Hall. Forbidden Forest is possible though. I'm not sure thought that Uni can use Dr. Who for London or Bond as there is a strong rumour its going to be shown on Disney XD and Bond will likely be used at Paramounts owned parks

Well then possibly Bourne? If the new one does well, they could make a show/ride that involves London.

Without having to worry about the Great Hall, a Forbidden Forest expansion is feasible. I just don't see a MoM expansion being a compelling E-ticket addition.

If Ministry of Magic has a very small footprint and is a Tower of Terror like thrill ride, then sure lets have it happen. As for the Forbidden forest, the fact is probably won't ever happen unless they do it like they did Knockturn Alley and near impossible to make family friendly enough (giant spiders, dementors, other dark creatures, werewolves, giants, trolls.)

Who said it needed to be family friendly? ;) It's not called the Forbidden Forest for nothing you know. I could see it now, being attacked by AA Trolls, Giants, Werewolves etc.......... Amazing  Spiders could be left out since they're covered in Forbidden Journey and they do seem to keep to that one area of the forest.

That would be amazing but would never happen. Too few screens.
