Yes, I live in California. No, I am not in any way associated with the motion picture industry, or anything media related, nor do I care to be. Last movie I saw in a theater was Hairspray in '07, and that was the first time I'd been to the movies in years and years.
I don't acknowledge or invest any time or energy in current movies, except for maybe the latest animation Disney thing that gets a meet n' greet or something in the parks. Most movies out of Hollywood now are junk anyways. It's just not something I keep track of, or care about. I also don't collect stamps.
Yes, but didn't we also have the Jungle Cruise before Animal Kingdom?
*sigh*

There is no fifth (full) park in any stage of active development.
All capital expenditure for the rest if the decade will be on maintaining and expanding the existing offerings.
Any fifth park talk is pure fanboy fantasy.
No, no, not fantasy; Nightmare.Any fifth park talk is pure fanboy fantasy.

REALLY???!! Or you just HATE, HATE, HATE Disney, right?:ROFLOL:
Seriously, how any rational person can look at the current global economy, USA economy, Disney P&R expenditures/investments and blubber on that a fifth park is somehow within the realm of possibility needs to check into a reality clinic.
Or perhaps they missed the part about how DAK brought WDW to a park saturation point and how Disney is losing days to UNI/IOA etc ... or maybe I missed the part about Americans now getting an average of five weeks paid vacation a year:ROFLOL:.
But everytime this topic rears its ugly head (this time to give Hill some attention heading into the fan community gathering in O-Town this weekend to acknowledge the importance of something Disney didn't wish to), I'm convinced of one point: most fans who desire a fifth park likely are bored out of their minds with the four that exist and want something new to feed their habit ... because you can't look at the state of the four existing parks and possibly think ''yeah, Disney should ignore them some more and build another instead!''
Are you implying IOA/UNI can dent WDW's figures?
What I am saying is what is known fact: that many people are taking a day they used to spend at WDW and head to IOA to visit WWoHP instead.
This is why Disney is desperate to grab some attention and went blue in what I believe is a very ill thought out way to 'compete' with the boy who lived up the street.
*sigh*

Dear Lord this is insane. Looking at how the global economy is going to map out over the next decade(s), I'd be surprised if we still had our 4 parks.
From reading posts lately I know some here see you as an expert on all things Disney but I do not know you. Do you work for Disney? Are you in imagineering? Is there something that you have seen that would make your opinion more valid than others that are "hoping" for a 5th park? I have my doubts that a 5th park will happen too, even though it is nice to dream about it, but how do you know one isn't coming?

Lee has sources/contacts from that actually are employed by Disney. The sources Lee has to my understanding are not bus drivers, but in higher positions at Disney.
Lee is a person you should trust because of his sources.
What Disney has in mind for the 5th park is aimed directly at the Potter demographic. So, dial it back a few notches unbelievers. If what I'm hearing is correct, you'll love WDW's future plans.
