It is nice to see John Smoltz and Joe Simpson back on TBS again. I used to enjoy Joe Simpson calling Braves games back in the day. Makes me miss Skip Carey.

Idon't think its fair the local fans can't see the game on regular TV. I think they should be required to show the game locally like the NFL does.

I had a great time!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and I did scream and cheer loud. I even got on the fan-o-vision wearing my Dr. Seuss hat which I put a phillies P on the front of. :) WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree about missing Harry Kalas. Just not the same at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome series! Yea, I don't think we'll go to game 5. I see a SWEEP in the future!!!!!! :)

I see your cute little dog in it's Phillies jersey! All the stores must size discriminate because I couldn't find any to fit my golden retriever/chow! She's been rocking a Phillies collar since the summer though.

That game was awesome! Who knew that a Brett Myers at-bat could get a crowd in such a frenzy?

It's ridiculous. I understand that it's a west coast team...but COME ON! What about 4:00/7:00 or even 5:00/8:00!!!

Hey, look on the bright side...at least you get to know the outcome of the game when you get home. Try falling asleep when the game's tied...but knowing you need to get to bed.

I stayed up until midnight the other night and that's about all I could do because I knew that alarm clock would be ringing. I went to bed...it was 1-0 Angels. I got the good news that the Sox had come back after I got out of the shower the next morning.

I hear ya, man. Part of the problem might be one network covering all the games. It used to be that two different networks would take the ALDS and games would overlap some. An 8:30 start in Chicago (9:30 EST)? That's crazy,

Don Orsillo and Dennis Eckersley are doing the games...but do you think they're doing any Red Sox games? Nope. (Although, that may be due to "biases")

I'm not a fan of the TBS coverage. I wish that the local games could be shown on the local network. NESN (New England Sports Network) covers the games all year long (with the exception of a FOX game here or there)...but they don't get the rights to show the playoffs.

Thanks! That's a shame you can't find the right size for her! But at least she has the color. Get a phillies bandana and tie it around her. :)

I know! We were all going crazy with Brett at bat!!!!!!! Loving ever foul ball! I kept saying, "He's wearing out the pitcher! He's wearing out the pitcher! Awesome!!!!!!!!!!" What a game. LOVE that Victorino!!!!!! :sohappy:
